Hi all,

Found a great deal on Alamo. They did this for May and then the rates jumped right back up a few days later so ACT FAST!!!!

Here's what I got!

Base rate $90.62 for a Compact, Standard, or Full Size...

Join Alamo Insiders (free) for an extra 10% off. But, make sure you book under "new reservation" not the insider's section.

I also used the Jump Offer coupon AD2359FDF for an extra $35.00 that I got from CarRentalSavers.com

Like I said though... they did this in May and the rates shot right back up.

I got a Full-Size Car from June 8-15 (pickup 2:00p, return 12:00p) for $90.62, then 10% off, then $35 coupon off. Sub-total $41.44; Final amount including all taxes/fees $88.00.

When I tried the same codes for an 8 day rental it shot up to $250 or something like that...

A word of warning: Florida highways no longer use toll collectors. So you will be automatically enrolled in the toll device rental program when you go through a toll. You'll have to pay the toll device rental fee for each day that you go through Sun Pass tolls.

Here's Alamo's Toll Fine Print: If you or any driver operate the rental vehicle in Northern California, Florida, Colorado, or Texas, and generate an unpaid toll, you will be charged our Toll Pass Convenience Charge of $2.00 for each day you use a toll road or bridge plus the cost of all unpaid tolls. The maximum Toll Pass Convenience Charge for the rental period is $6.00, plus the cost of all unpaid tolls.

I tried the rate code and insider for a june 2-9 rental and the rates were 200.00 and up. We are renting at the Disney Car Care Center and dropping off in Fort Lauderdale. Where are you renting and dropping?
I have an Alamo rate for 130.00 that I am happy with....However, your rate is awesome.

Great rate. We just returned and all of the roads near Disney still offer the cash lanes for tolls. We used them and saved our receipts.

If you stay to the right you still can pay cash for a toll. And yes keep the receipt. Some people have reported that after they turned the car in a few days later they got billed for unpaid tolls. So hang on to those receipts.

Where are you renting from and dropping off at?
I am not finding this rate.

I booked this rate today picking up and dropping off from MCO. For May 29-June 8 we are paying $163 (tax included) for a full size car. Almost half off a prior reservation I had with Budget for a mid-size SUV

I have an Alamo rate for 130.00 that I am happy with....However, your rate is awesome.

dropping off at a different location usually adds quite a bit to the price. I always do better picking up and dropping off at Orlando Airport over the Disney locations.

Nevertheless, this rate was only available for about 24 hours and I haven't seen it since. Alamo is frustrating... you have to stalk their site daily. You may have a lot of trouble getting a ridiculous rate like I got with separate pickup/dropoff and no airport locations... sorry.

Fortunately I found a rate of 130.00 total for a mid size suv. We are picking up at the Disney Car Center and dropping off in Ft. Lauderdale. I agree that Alamo's rates are up and down. I check a couple of times a day.

Wow, when did that happen, we just got back late March and did not have an unattended both between the airport and Disney.
