Weekend in deepest darkest Oxfordshire take 2

We arrived on Friday afternoon at Eynsham Hall.

Very impressive as you approach.

daytime or night.

I booked it through airmiles and it was only £55 for the three nights B&B. BARGAIN.

we had a meal the first night in the hotel which was AB FAB we only went for two of the three courses and we there both stuffed. I'm sorry no food pictures and I really wish I'd taken some as the presentation was a work of art.
We spotted a deer in the grounds from our bedroom window and we saw him everyday during our stay. I took a few pictures but none of them are in focus.
On the Saturday we took a drive into nearby Witney and had a look a round.

It's a nice little town
I was sorely tempted to buy another lens for my camera but I managed to resist.


We had dinner at a lovely Chinese place and it's a shame that our new favourite chinese is now an hours drive away.

Back to the hotel for a coffee in the lounge.

Sunday we made use of the hotel pool and had a walk around the grounds.

Ate in the hotel again, and again it was superb.

I know I should have taken the camera. SORRY.

I may have to copy you and do a weekend trip there this summer, its beautiful and I have enough airmiles for 2 nights for £55 - was the 3 nights a special promotion or did you just book normally?

I rang to ask if they catered to children and they had cots etc and were so friendly so am looking forward to going there, thanks for sharing the piccies (yours are actually nicer than the ones on their website ), they should give you a commission

Hi Eloise

They do promotions around this time of year. I guess the summer is peak season as well.
We upgraded to the main hall which should have been another £45 but they didn't charge us.
Have a great time, we did.

The indoor one is better.
They had a log in the corner of the pond to allow frogs and toads to get out.
