Happy Easter Weekend all

Reddy thinking of you this week. pixiedust
Jen hope you had a great first week

Things are insane still around here but that's ok. Boiling again this am and pm
house work be danmed at this point.....

Have a great weekend all

I had a good first week, Christy, thanks for asking. I'm tired, but in a good way. Getting used to the train and making sure I don't oversleep is making for some early mornings, but I'll adjust. So looking forward to seeing you in 12 days!

Our troop is off to the Whole Foods store this morning for a tour. When I reserved it I didn't realize that it was the day before Easter, so it will be super busy. Ah well. The girls will enjoy it. We're working on our Eating for Beauty badge.

I'm bringing one girl home, so I think we'll color eggs this afternoon. I need to find out from my sister what I need to bring to dinner tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Happy birthday to Megan!

gotta go to the grocery store this morning - DH was planning on going tomorrow :rotfl2: - they will be closed - not sure about Wal-Mart
gotta get stuff for cookout (if it doesn't rain)

pick Richard up for the week-end - at 3 - he was running up & down the hall yesterday & seemed to like the new room - we will see how he does when I pick him up - he'll stay here until the school bus picks him up on Monday
I'll get him on Wednesdays for TREAT(horseback riding)

only thing James seems to be worried about is the DVDs that I sent with Richard:confused3

I think he needs a book shelf & some painting for his room - need to talk to Mom for the paintings - since she paints & has several that are just sitting around - maybe check some garage sells - with just James in tow I can do more of that

Reddy- Hope things continue to go well
Christy- Hope you get some sanity soon
Jen- Early mornings are rough, hopefully you will adjust soon. Glad the first week went well

For being on spring break this week, it sure has been busy and not much fun. A lot of running, doctor appts, etc. The blood clot is cleared from my leg so I do not have to take blood thinners now (off the pill now so hopefully they stay away) :cool1: so that is least good news. The girls now have contact lenses. (Only day two, so still struggling with getting them in and taking them out- oh joy!!!) I was tired of glasses getting lost, damaged, etc. With sports too, contacts are much easier for us. DS had croup, so he is on breathing treatments, but seems to be doing much better. We have been to the doctor twice this week with him, poor guy.

Today
DD1 seeing an early movie with friends
DD2 birthday party
This evening dying eggs
Disney theme night- (usually due on Sunday but switched since tomorrow is Easter.) Ratatouille- since mice love cheese we are having cheese broccoli soup, mac and cheese, and grilled cheese. Dessert- cheese cake (Not our healthiest Disney Night :rotfl:)

Tomorrow- Everyone have a great Easter!!! We will be going to church and spending time with family.

Back to reality on Monday (we lost the day off because of snow)- 8 solid weeks of school with no breaks until summer. I think I can, I think I can..........

:wave2:

Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need.

Christy, hope things settle down soon.

Jennifer, glad you had a good first week. Good luck adjusting to early mornings!

Reddy, glad Richard likes his new room. Hope things keep smooth on the transition!

Michelle, hope DS feels better soon. My belly hurts thinking of all that cheese:)

Julia is working on deserts for tomorrow. Finished shopping for Easter yesterday, need to stuff eggs and figure out hiding spots, and put together baskets.

Dinner is with in-laws tomorrow and hopefully home earlyish.

Hope everyone is having a great day and Happy Easter to all!

Good evening!!!

We got up and headed out for our 3 hour drive to see PJ and 2 of her friends.. We took them out for lunch. I think they were 3 of a handful of kids that didn't go home this weekend. They treated themselves to a day out day yesterday and then we took them out today. Not sure what they were planning for tomorrow but I'm sure they will do something fun. I miss having her home for Easter but it was so nice to see them all and have such a wonderful meal together today.

Christy, to heck with the house.. housework is over-rated!
Jennifer, glad to hear your first week went well and you'll be adjusted in no time to the early morning hours!
Cassey, so glad to hear you had help with the dessert making!
Michelle, sounds like a great evening planned even with all that cheese!!! :) Yay~ for contacts. That is the reason we put PJ in contacts by 7th grade because the sports were so rough on glasses! Sorry to hear little one has had the croup. :( Hope he is feeling better now.
Reddy, glad Richard is doing well. Hope the rain stays away so you can have that cook out tomorrow!
 Hey Rachal!! Drive bys are always a nice way to say hello!

Well, I have a killer headache from driving all day. 6 hours total..but so worth it!
I hope each of you have a wonderful and blesses Easter tomorrow. We are not doing much. I think the boys mentioned allowing me to scrap the day away! I think I will take them up on that option because I'm behind but almost finished with one project!!!

Have a great evening everyone!
