Weekend crowds by season???

Sehlinger's unofficial guide says that Sat and Sun are busy during off season but in the summer says that these are the least busy days...can anyone confirm or dispute this based on recent summer experiences????

Hi PKS44,

We have fairly extensive data on crowd levels during both peak and off-peak seasons, and we use that data to make the recommendations in the Guide. Using the data we can usually estimate to within around 10% of the actual number of people in the park (by comparing our numbers with, say, the turnstile counts).

I'd be really interested in hearing if anyone here has numbers more solid that that. I think what you're likely to find is a lot of subjective opinion. Opinion, of course, has its uses, but I'm not sure its what you're looking for here.
