Weekend before Thanksgiving?

We are going to disney for the 1st time in November - the weekend before thanksgiving. We wanted to know of a relatively inexpensive place to stay. I have a 4 yr old and the couple we are going with has a 4 yr old. Any suggestions? and where to find a deal on said resort?

Disney's Value Resort - All-Star Movie, Music & Sports and Pop Century are going to be the least expensive places to stay on-site. The last couple of years they have run a free dining promo and had room discount for the time frame you are going, but nothing has been released for those dates yet. Late fall and early winter discounts should come out this summer.

Two years ago we were staying at POFQ and ate breakfast at the AKL. We asked how much more to stay there and they said just come on over, didn't charge any more!!! This is an awesome time to go.

Two years ago we were staying at POFQ and ate breakfast at the AKL. We asked how much more to stay there and they said just come on over, didn't charge any more!!! This is an awesome time to go.

Please clarify. You went up to the frond desk at AKL and asked how much it would be to upgrade your trip to more from POFQ and they just told you to pack your bags and move to AKL and didn't charge you anything else?
