Is it noticeably less crowded on Weekdays than on Weekends in the Summer months? We will be there July 20-25.

I know that typically people say the most crowded part of the day is 11 am to 5 pm, but is that also true during the summer? Im wondering if crowds pick up even more after 5 with people getting off work. Any opinions???

Here are some predictions from Ridemax for the wait time for Indy on Wednesday June 10 vs Saturday June 13:

June 10 (Wed)
12:00 - 60 mins
3:00 - 70 mins
6:00 - 62 mins

June 13 (Sat)
12:00 - 60 mins
3:00 - 70 mins
6:00 - 62 mins

Based on that, the crowds are similar throughout the summer, regardless of day. However, in my experience, it does seem to be slightly less crowded on weekdays in the summer but not by much.

EEssshhh. Would you say that the crowds picked even more after 5 or 6? Or did they slowly drop off? Also, late in the night (like after the fireworks 'til close, is it a lot lighter crowds from your experience?

Everyday is crowded between mid-June and mid-August.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the "emptiest" days, but it is still crowded. Sundays are more crowded than Saturdays now, because Deluxe/SoCal AP's are often blocked on Saturdays. During the summer SoCal AP's are blocked almost the entire time, but Deluxe APs are unblocked on Sundays.

Crowds do drop off after the fireworks and second Fantasmic! showing.

I'm not sure I agree with that particular RideMax prediction, as June 12th is the day that Disneyland is supposed to be starting some new summer entertainment offerings. So I would think that the park will see bigger crowds on 6/13 (though they might all be staking out spots for fireworks and Fantasmic by 6 PM, true enough ;) ).

Thanks for the info--I had been under the impression since DL gets so many locals that the weekends would be a lot more busy than the weekdays, but I do believe RideMax if it says that is not generally the case. (Though since my trip is mostly a weekend I suppose it doesn't matter too much to me!)
