Week of Thanksgiving

We just found out that I'm going to be laid off the week of Thanksgiving. What do you think are the chances of getting plane tickets and a room that week. We are not limited on what type of room but would prefer a moderate or deluxe resort. My thoughts are to fly out from Lansing MI to Orlando late Friday or Saturday and then come back the following Friday before everyone else comes home after the Thanksgiving holiday. Any suggestions?

As long as you aren't picky about your resort, I'd say you have a good chance if you do the booking ASAP. Hop to it....

I would check on the airfair first. Return flights are expensive and hard to come by that weekend.
