We will be going July 2nd-9th. It’s been three years since we have visited! I’m not afraid of crowds as our previous visits have been during Easter week. But on a scale of 1-10 how busy is that week?

I don’t know how to plan our HS day with the new section opening. What are FP priorities for that day now? Will TSM have fp availability? Do we now go to new section of park at rope drop? I feel lost. Usually we go to TOT and rocking roller or TSM. But I don’t know now! Kids will be 15,12, and 7 this trip.

Crowd level is purely subjective, so if I tell you it's a 7, the next person would say it's a 12, and the next a 4. So you kind of have to make of it what you will. We've been for that week many times, including last year. If I had to guess, I'd say it's in the top 5 busiest weeks all year?? But it's still quite manageable. Only MK on the 3rd and 4th really get nuts. The rest isn't a big deal.

As for HS, nobody knows for sure how to plan, since it's not open yet. We don't rope drop, and don't plan to, even on the day Toy Story Land opens...we'll be there that day, it's our last day in the parks. If you do rope drop, I'd say yes, go there first. All the Toy Story rides will now be Tier 1. TSMM, Slinky and Alien Saucers. The rest, including RnR, will be Tier 2.

Toy story does not have a fastpass as the fastpass line is under construction...I hear also there is only one track open so wait times are over 3 hrs..

There seems to be many same day FP+ for TSMM

Day of FP for Toy Story are still available. You can book them for immediate use. Check that app if you’re in the park. There may never be a better time to ride Toy Story

But since the OP is talking about July (when all of Toy story land is open, all 3 Toy Story rides will be tier 1, if TSMM is more important than Slinky than TSMM FP+ would be a great choice)

I’m guessing most people that enjoy coasters will book Slinky (because it’s new, more than being a really exciting ride) instead of TSMM
