Week of Feb.23-29/04..Concern...

This will be our first time on resort and i was wondering how busy the parks and resort will be at this time of season?? I know it just after presidents week, which is busy... so would most people be gone by the following monday(feb.23) ?? Hope its not too busy... Were staying at the POP century... Any info would be great!!

That time of year the crowds are usually pretty low. I've gone around that time frame twice, and am doing it again this year. Both times the weather was perfect (sunny and in the low 80's) and the crowds were low. You'll want to use fast pass as there will still be some crowds (it's not as low of a crowd as say September) but it is really, really manageable.

we were there last year at that time and we're going again this year at that time. the crowds were really light; it was so great. the weather is hit or miss; last year it was cloudy and rainy but it didn't stop us. i think you'll love it at this time of year.

The crowds should be light - the temperature will be iffy - and you will see a lot of purple, green and gold around as people from New Orleans will be escaping Mardi Gras - don't worry - we are nice people and there aren't TOO many of us!

There are a few of us Louisianians from the Lafayette area who are escaping Mardi Gras during that week as well.

And some of us will be escaping the single digits in New England. We'll be in Orlando that week too. The weather is fickle, one week could be 80's, the next won't get out of the 60's (we got the 60's last time ). The crowds are LOW. However, we were there the Feb immediately after 9/11, so that probably impacted the crowds that we saw. Don't worry about crowds, just make sure you are prepared for weather cooler then the 80's that most of us Northerners expect from Florida

That's good to know that the crowds won't be bad then. Since I will be leaving on February 28 for 8 Days in sunny orlando. I'm getting so excited it makes me about to pee!

I'm SO glad to hear that crowds will be somewhat low at this time of year! If the weather is low 60's or whatever, won't bother me, I just can't wait to get away from this -20 degree Celcius weather up here in Canada Thanks for all the help!! Hope to see some of you there!!

Great question! We will be there that week too and I am so excited to hear the crowds will be manageable. I know the weather will be hit or miss, but we will be prepared for hot or cold. See you all there!

We'll be there too escaping the frigid Michigan winter, I'd be thrilled to have some consistent low 70's days! That week is Univ. of Mich. break week and some public schools follow their calendar and have off rather than Pres. Week.
