Unfortunately I don't have pictures, but since I got so much from this board before our trip - I wanted to let you know what we thought...
We had 7 night of the DDP - 1 TS, 1 QS, and 1 snack - way too much food for my family! We had the free dining plan, but I would not pay for it for my family - we just aren't big eaters
My original plan was:
Day 1 - Hoop Dee Doo (No parks)
Day 2 - QS (Animal Kingdom)
Day 3 - Sci Fi Diner Breakfast & Minnie Dinner @ H&V (Hollywood Studios)
Day 4 - QS (Magic Kingdom)
Day 5 - QS (Sea World)
Day 6 - Breakfast Garden Grill & Tappan Edo Dinner (Epcot)
Day 7 - Lunch Be Our Guest & Ohana Dinner (Magic Kingdom)
What we ended up doing:
Day 1: Hoop Dee Doo Revue - Absolutely loved this! We were Cat 2 @ 6:15 Show - upstairs. Show was funny and cute - kids loved it! Food was great - Fried Chicken, Ribs, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Beans, Bread and Strawberry Shortcake! Loved all of the food and dessert. Service was ok.
Day 2: Animal Kingdom - Yak and Yeti QS for lunch - very good... DH got mongolian beef and enjoyed it - kids and I shared the chicken and the fried rice. Always a good choice there! Decided to get a reservation at Rainforest Cafe at the park - got one right at 5:30 the same day. Great atmosphere if you have kids! Food was good, nothing special but nothing bad. Got the volcano dessert - best part of the meal and kids got a kick out of how big it was! Service was slow.
Day 3: Cancelled SciFi Breakfast night before. Did QS at Min and Bills Dockside - Sausage Sandwiches (good, nothing special), Pulled Pork Mac And Cheese (Loved this - lots of flavor!) and Milksahakes (yummy - I couldn't finish my milkshake
was way too full!) Did the Minnies Holiday Dine - Loved it - great character interaction (no signatures, you get a signature card), food had lots of yummy choices...its a buffet, but food was decent.
Day 4: Columbia Harbor House for lunch - always yummy - crowded downstairs, lots of table upstairs. Fried Fish and chicken was great. DH had the tuna sandwich which he said was good. We were able to snag an Ohana reservation the night before for 5:15, so we did that this night. Not sure I would go back. Service was slow. Kids did the coconut races, which were very chaotic and unorganized. Loved the potstickers. Salad was ok. Noodles were pretty good. Loved the shrimp. Didn't care for the chicken. Steak was good if you got a tender piece. Dessert was awesome! Probably our one meal I really wasn't impressed by.
Day 5 - Went to SeaWorld, cam back to Disney Springs and did wolfgang Puck QS for dinner - yummo! One of our favorites! The food was very good, service was awesome! DH got chicken BBQ pizza, I did the bacon wrapped meatloaf, DS got chicken fingers, and DD got spaghetti and meatballs. All loved our food!
Day 6 - Cancelled GG night before - early was not happening! Did lunch at the QS Mexico - Nachos and Tacos and churros - yum! Did the Tappan edo - great Service, great Hibatchi. Food was very good! Kids love dthe show and trying to eat with chop sticks. Would definitely do again!
Day 7 - Magic Kingdom was a mad house (day before Thanksgiving) - did our lunch at Be Our Guest. That place is so unorganized - it was crazy! Waited to get our food situated for about 30 minutes. Tables were free but weren't cleared. But we were pleasantly surprised with the food - enjoyed it very much. DH got roast beef sandwich, me and kids shared the ham and cheese sandwich and soup...soup was a little too much salt - but otherwise food was very good! After that we went to Epcot - which was so much better that day! We did dinner at Beirgarden (again last minute reservation the night before) - loved it! Buffet was very good, beer was tasty and love the entertainment. yes you are seated with others - but that didn't take away from it for us. Definitely would do this again.
Day 8 - Had to use leftover credits - got 2 QS breakfasts that we shared at Coronado Springs - very tasty. Got some snacks for the plane ride home. Went to Disney Springs - got sandwiches for the plane ride and some more snacks
A few things to keep in mind -
*You can get last minute reservations to places that are hard to get - so look the night before.
*DDP is alot of food!!! You won't go hungry! (For us and probably some way too much food, we do not eat like that on a normal basis
)
*We didn't have any awful dining experiences, food was fairly consistant everywhere and service was usually decent.
