Have gone to WDW the past 6 Novembers, thinking of heading to California. Two times work well for my kids school schedule... Nov 2010, the full week before Thanksgiving(we would be flying home Sat before Thanksgiving) or April 2011 10 days before Easter. Wondering which would be best for crowds and weather. I am just in the beginning stages of figuring out this vacation so I am sure there will be a ton of questions to come. thanks.

We were there the week of Thanksgiving and it was crowded. However, from everything I've read on these boards, it was actually pretty low crowds the week before, so I think you'd have a great time. I think April is going to give you more spring break crowds...

We went the full week before Thanksgiving this year. The weather was perfect - mid 70s every day. We pulled out the jackets around 6pm, but it wasn't too cold. A lot of the rides were walk-ons, many were 10 min. or less waits. The longest line my husband stood in the entire week was 15 minutes. (He didn't want to wait in the 30 minute Toy Story line, when he had already done the ride waiting for just 5 minutes. ;)) Crowds picked up in the evening, but wasn't as bad as I was expecting. We found it to be a perfect time to go. Plus we loved seeing all the Christmas stuff. :)

I vote November. You'll most likely see some (if not all) the xmas decorations and crowds will definitely lower than Spring break.

Thanks. We went to Florida Nov 11-19 this year and were at Disneyworld tues./wed/thurs 17-19th and it too had almost no lines. Thanks for the tips, especially on the weather too. tks
