Just wondering how the crowds will be this week. We usually go fall break and have a great time with minimal crowds. Hoping for the same. Thanks in advance...have a preschooler that loves Mickey's house but not waiting :goodvibes

Hi! we're going during the same time (Nov 11-18) and are hoping for low crowds also. My best guess is that Mon 11/12 might be crowded since it's Veteran's Day - but I really don't think it will be too bad. I think that by Fri 11/16 things will pick up quite a bit and the weekend (which is the weekend before Thanksgiving) will be busy. My plan is to do as much as possible Mon 11/12 - Thurs 11/15, and save the less popular shows and attractions for Fri 11/16 - Sun 11/18.

Not sure if that helps, but that's our plan.....

I'll be there then too!
11/3-7 Pop - planning on parks commando, Food & Wine, Off Kilter
11/7-11 Coronado - Off Kilter
11/11-16 BCV - Dolphin Encounter, Segway, Off Kilter and oh ya

MY 50TH BIRTHDAY! you'll find me at Off Kilter doing this-

I'll be there also that week, looks like it should be fine....can't wait see you there. We are staying at CBR how about you

princess: We will be at POP. DH DD5 and I will be there too:dance3: hoping for an amazing week with our princess and Walts princess'.princess:

Since you're arriving on the 11th, 3 events will be ending - the F&W Fest (Epcot), Soap Weekend (MGM) and the Festival of the Master's (DTD). Alot of the crowds will be heading home (hopefully!)

That's our gameplan - hoping for low crowds that week! :goodvibes

We'll be at Disney Nov 15-21 - also hoping for low crowds and some really nice weather!!!! (We were just at Disney for two weeks for 4th of July - it was hot and crowded, but we did just fine and had a great trip!!!!)

From what I've heard, everything is pretty OK until the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and it gets a little crowded that Wed, Thanksgiving Day, and the day after.

Oh well, at least we'll be at Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was just told by my hairdresser (ibig disney fan) that that week is the slowest in WDW. Wish I could book that week but my job doesn't allow that week for vacation. We are going Nov 30 - Dec 8 staying at Caribbean beach resort for the 1st time. Can't wait!!!!

That week is definitely not the slowest anymore. It's slow, but no way the slowest. First two weeks of Dec are way slower & most weeks in Jan & the first in February are slower. The crowds will be very light, but I wouldn't call it slowest. We've gone in Nov for years & it's gotten more & more busy & popular, but it will still be slower than most months.

Unfortunately the first two weeks of Dec. are not slow anymore. The secret is out and it has been increasing in popularity over the past couple of years. Between Pop Warner, Mousefest, the Christmas parade taping, DVC popularity, decorations and cheap prices, it is getting busier...tough to find a place to stay on property for the first full week of Dec.

I was there the second week Dec this past year & it was slower than the week before Thanksgiving. We thought it was going to be busy, because all DVC had available was a 2 bedroom at OKW, but once we got there it wasn't at all. The thing I've learned is, just cause DVC resorts have limited availability doesn't mean it's gonna be super busy. Crowds have really picked up in general & IMO there really isn't a slooooow time anymore, but the 2nd week of Dec was slower than any week I've been in Nov. The slowest time of the year I've been was the last week of January into the first week of February two years ago.
