Week before or aftere thanksgiving

Trying to plan our first trip, and the best time for us is around thanksgiving. Would you choose week before thanksgiving break or the week after? Just a big no in the week of thanksgiving itself.
Any advice would be awesome: weather, crowds and cost is the big three I'm concerned about.

We went the week after Thanksgiving in 2011. I loved it!
I wore a light jacket since I am always cold. The crowds were pretty light.
Of course there was a wait for the most popular rides, but others we walked right on without a wait.

DW and I took a solo trip in 2010 (TR link here http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2597843) starting the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The crowds during that time were great and the weather cooperated beautifully. The weather can be fickle in Florida at any time of the year though. I like the week after Thanksgiving because Candlelight Processional begins then. One bit of advice though, do not go to MK the 2nd weekend after Thanksgiving (not the Friday-Sunday immediately after Thanksgiving but avoid the following weekend). That is when they film the Christmas Day parade and MK is packed with tens of thousands of youngsters! All the other parks are fine but avoid MK.

We went week after in 2012, weather was fantastic wore shorts to the christmas party. The lines we very good too.

Keep in mind that Thanksgiving is November 28th this year, so the first week afterward will go into the taping of the parade. We were there last year from November 28th through Dec 6 and the taping was the one weekend we were there. It didn't have any effect on us since we knew to avoid it and planned accordingly. But with Thanksgiving so late this year, you may want to consider the week before. I think the crowd levels will be similar. Whenever you go, have a magical trip!
