week before Easter

I just booked our vacation at our timeshare(outside of the park) for the week before Easter. I am a teacher and this is our spring break. We usually go in August so I am used to long lines and heat. I know it won't be hot but will the lines be as bad as August, better or worse??

Oh No! I'm going that week too! I thought spring break would be over that's why I picked that week.

We're going the week before Easter too. I'm also a teacher and it was either Spring Break or Christmas Break. I'm glad we chose Spring Break because it would've been a mess with this big snowstorm we just had last week.

I've gone before over Spring Break and while it was crowded, I still had a great time.

We're going that week too. Not spring break for us... but DH doesn't get vacation until that week.

We went Christmas last year, so we dealt with the crowds once we can do it again!

We are going that week too (because of school vacation). We go this week every year. I am anxious to see what it is like because of Easter.

We have been the week after Easter for Spring Break the lasts 2 years, yes it is crowded, but get thee to the parks before opening, ride the big stuff first and use fastpass, especially at Epcot for Soarin and Studio's for TSMM and you will be fine, the weather is awesome in April, been there 4 times in April. Our Spring Break is the week before too this year!

We will be going Wed 4/13 through Wed 4/20. I had read that it might not be as bad because a lot of schools are going off the typical easter schedule, since it falls so late. I'm hanging my hopes on that! The first time we went was also the week of Easter and really, even on very crowded days it was not THAT bad. Get there early, leave when you get tired and hot and come back in the evening. We went to MK 2 days, Epcot 2 days, HWS 1 day and AK 1 day with the crowds and felt like we got to see and do almost everything we wanted to. And it was a little hot when we were there - 95 a couple of days, but the whole go, leave and come back later helps with that too. Have a great vacay - Julie
