Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

To do online check in or not? That is the question!

I keep forgetting about that! I'm going to do it so I can get the room ready text and know what my room number is. I hear you also get an email and they put a phone number u can call with questions. Someone on the CBR thread said they were able to get their room switched that way.

For countdowns the past 2 years we had a posterboard, drew a trail on it, divided it into 60 squares. Numbered the squares and each day the kids would put a mickey sticker in the square. The last square of the trail had the castle on it, which was arrival day.

This year the kids did their own just from notebook paper. Each chose their own disney stickers.

I will, I just need to decide if I want to use the TP fax for the room I want, or just leave it to chance and hope for the best. Either way its a gamble!

We did it early last year and since our room wasnt ready until like 6pm it didnt make a difference for us (grrrr). Hoping for a better outcome this year, but with the holiday I am guessing its going to be crazy again.

I have my own countdown on my phone - but since the trip is a surprise for the kids only I get to be excited about it!

I did online check in, but I called in room requests, and will also use the TP fax. The options in online check in were so generic that they were not that helpful.

I don't remember it asking for arrival time this year either... I am assuming since it will still be busy that we may have to wait (checking in on Saturday after Thanksgiving).

I got lucky last year and got a water view overlooking BW at BC. I asked for our same room as last year. Debated sending in the TP fax as well. I think I just got lucky last year thought.
I did the online check in. I feel like it was different last year. Last year it asked me for preferences. You could choose 1. I chose full balcony as opposed to the Juliet balconies at BC since I knew we would want to sit outside while DD napped. It didn't ask me for any of that this year? Am I crazy? Well the answer is yes but about the online check in specifically.
