Hi! Coming from Massachusetts 11/25-12/3. Our first night is at Pop Century, then over to the Beach Club for the first time. Me, my husband, DD 11 and DS 5 are super excited for the Beach Club and hope it's warm enough for plenty of swimming! Also doing the Xmas party on 12/1.

Oh lucky! I was hoping to move over to the Beach Club from the Boardwalk when the fall discounts came out, but unfortunately that wasn't possibly. When I booked with my PIN code discount, the Beach Club wasn't available for the discount. I was really hoping to see the stormalong bay. Instead I guess I have to settle with the crazy clown pool haha. I do want to get over to the Beach Club to check it out and try some an alcoholic milkshake!

From the News & Rumors board, our first ride refurb to impact our trip. Thought y'all would want to know.

yay for another sports friend - any idea what room requests to use there? I know the one pool will be closed, but don't care so much about walking to a pool. We will be in a standard room.

Might be a fun way to see who is where and when in case anyone wants to coordinate meets/exchanges of anything/etc?? If you're interested add a post here and I'll go add whoever wants to be added

Oops, I hate to be a bother, but you have my "dh" listed as "ds". Next time you add someone or something maybe you could fix that up quick.

Any guesses on how late AK might be open for our dates? I'm thinking I need to search for an earlier Boma reservation since 6:15 is fairly late for getting back to AK for some nighttime stuff...

If it's 8:30 in October... my guess right now is maybe 7 or 8 at the latest? But if ROL does debut, that might change things and it might open a little later.

That's what I was thinking too. Ill have to stalk the site and set up an alert to try and get something earlier than 6:15.

Me moving my ADR times earlier seems to be a common theme right now. I really should have looked at the schedule 3 months ago when I made my ADRs.

Ok so we made the difficult decision (difficult to choose, happy now that it's done) to cancel our FD at CR and rent the awesome house that crossed my path. It felt like it was meant to be: it makes my DH much happier to have all the space(reluctant party to our trip), the kids are super excited to have our very own pool for 8 days, and I am definitely excited about getting to add two whole days to our trip. I had wanted to go for 6 nights originally but was only ever to get 5 nights on the FD pkg and it's sort of bugged me since. Now we get 7 nights! I know off-site is unpopular around here but I think it was the right choice for us this time. I haven't actually canceled the CR yet but I paid for the house so it's done deal

Hopefully I can still stick around here? I have no idea how to navigate the waters of an off-site stay so wish me luck?! Boo for 30 day FP+

It sounds like the perfect place for your family! Lots of people do exactly what you're planning to do and have wonderful vacations. I'm glad you can get an extra few days to top it off, too!

Sounds like you made a great decision, I'm sure you guys will have a blast. Private pool and separate rooms will be amazing - think of us in our tiny all star room and laugh maniacally

I'll be at MK both those days, Epcot the 30th and AK the 1st. Hopefully we made good choices!!
