Week After Turkey Day Shenanigans

We're staying at GF and I just read that Gasparilla Island Grill will be closed during my trip. Here I was all excited to use my new AP discount.lol Apparently the Grand Floridian Cafe will be offering a take out menu, so that's a plus. Not sure on where we get and fill our refillable mugs now.

Noooo! I love their cupcakes there and had planned to get some the night we eat at 1900 PF. I am wondering too where they will serve all the grab and go items?

I have two ADRs to cancel -- both for 4 people. If anyone is interested, please PM me:

Garden Grill: Dec. 1 at 4:00 PM

Crystal Palace: Dec. 2 at 8:00 AM (This is not PPO)

I'm on the hunt for a Tusker House breakfast on 11/28 (Tuesday). I'd also consider one on 11/27 or 12/3, so let me know if you have any of these that you're planning to cancel. I need it for 6, eventually, but I'd be happy to start with fewer than that if need be! Thanks!

Online check in - done!
Magic bands all customized - done! (all 8 thanks to my split stay haha!)

still need to call Chase about my $50 dream rewards for DH opening the disney visa, and get to Sam's to buy the rest of the GC's and pay the remaining balance due next week.

38 days to go! wheeeeeeeee :rainbow:

Had DD3 measured at the pediatrician's office on Thursday, and she is 40 1/4 inches without shoes. I knew you guys would be the only ones to understand how exciting that is!!!

Planning to ride the monorail on arrival day to show the kids around (no parks for us that day). Any opinion on QS restaurants at monorail resorts that are good? Thinking Contemporary, but we might head to Wolfgang Puck's at DS.
Oh my!! Exciting. My DD3 is 38.25" with cowboy boots on. She's so petite No big coasters for her!! Outlook not good for 38 days out!!

I have another ADR to cancel (4 people). Please PM if interested in coordinating:

Biergarten Restaurant Dinner
Date: Saturday, November 26, 2016
Time: 6:25 PM

Funny the talk about height. My DS is 6 and has been obsessed with the idea of Rock 'n Roller Coaster. He had me hang a growth chart in his room in the spring and he's been waiting to hit 48"! Luckily he's 49 now so he can ride anything he wants, so he says. Now to see if he actually enjoys all these or if he's all talk ;)

My 6yo was so bummed to be under 48" last fall! I've been carefully measuring him, 48" finally! He talks every day about wanting to ride RnR - lets hope when he gets there he is still as excited. His favorites from last trip were ToT, Space, and EE. He's quite the thrill seeker!

I was hoping my littlest would hit 38" since he's almost 3. He's only 36"! He's short like his mom
Hahaha mine is short like me and my DH! Really was hoping he would get my parents genes instead. Everyone commented he's tall but I think it's more because he's a skinny pie so there's the illusion he's tall :rotfl2:

Hi, I'm looking for opinions on the quickest way to get to Hollywood Studios from EPCOT around 7:00 p.m. Is it quickest to go to the front entrance and catch a bus, go out through International Gateway and walk, or go over to a resort and get the boat? I'd be trying to do this on a day when the parks are very crowded. I haven't done much park hopping before, and I tend to stay away from the buses whenever possible, but I don't want to make it more difficult than it has to be! Thanks!

Ohh, your kids are so tall! Mine will be 2 and a half and I'm hoping he would reach 36" :scratchin I need to measure him by myself. Last I measure was around 34.5...
To be fair, DD3 turns 4 the week before we leave, and my husband and I are both 6 feet tall! I think she'all love Soarin', Splash Mtn and the coasters, we'll see about ToT. Somehow the YouTube video just doesn't do it justice ...!
