We may have to change our plans and was wondering what the week after Thanksgiving is like? Arriving the Sunday after Thanksgiving to Saturday. Is it decorated for Christmas yet?

That's the same time that we had to adjust our schedule to. I was told that the Christmas decorations would be up or in the process. The lady at the resort assured me that all decorations were up before they started the Mickey's Wonderful Christmas, which starts the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I know this probably wasn't a big help but it's all that I know. :flower:

We are traveling that week also - Nov. 27th-Dec. 4! :cool1:

The Christmas decorations go up the day after Thanksgiving, so I'm sure by the following week, they will be completed. I just checked disneyworld.com, and the MVMCP dates have not yet been announced. Maybe someone else here has more info on that...

We have been to WDW the first week of Dec., and it was wonderful! VERY little crowds, and the decorations are so beautiful. I think you will love it!

Maybe we'll see you there! :wave2:

I have been to disney almost every single month of the year except for July and August and the week after Thanksgiving is the single best week EVER! It is my familys absolute favorite time to go....while the weather can be hit or miss for swimming, it is a great time to do the parks.....very low crowds, decorated for Christams already, MMVCP has started as well as the Osborne Lights and the Candlelight Processional......

It is also nice for us as we are not used to the heat and humidy of Florida at any time of year and it is really comfortable...

In my opinion, you could not have picked a better time to go!

We honeymooned at CSR the week after Thanksgiving, and it was GREAT!!! All of the decorations were up and the place looked incredible. The weather was great, not too hot, but we still went swimming. Best of all, the parks were empty! I am not into a commando style forced march through the parks to make sure you see everything. However, I think I saw more this trip than I ever had before, because we didn't wait on line for anything but Test Track the entire week. (It was a pretty new attraction at the time time.) We literally walked on to every other ride.

We did MVMCP and saw the lights at MGM. We are going back the same week this year for our five year anniversary, but now we have kids!

The lowest crowds Ihave ever seen!!! Still a lttle crowded the Sunday after Thanksgiving in the am, but by the afternoon I think most folks are headed back to the airport to go home. Christmas decorations are all up, cool weather if you are lucky (for that holiday feel) and MVMCP!!!!!

Shan :)

We have been there 2 years at this time. It is still fairly warm although when nighttime comes the temperature drops a lot. It wasn't very crowded and we loved the MVMCP and candlelight processional. I think the word is out though because the last time we went it was more crowded. All the books describe it as a slow week with the decorations up. Nancy

We have gone that week in both 2004 and 2003 and absolutely loved it. The weather is just gorgeous - usually in the 70s. The decorations are out. MVMCP is a blast.

This year we will miss it as we are going earlier in November in order to use our AP's once more before they expire.

11/27 to 12/4 Going to MVMCP 11/29. 199 MORE DAYS!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!
