Week after Thanksgiving or first week in December???

Do you guys have any recommendations? I'm particularly interested in low crowds. We would be going Monday- Friday..no weekends. Both weeks look pretty good. Just wanting to get others' opinions. Thanks!

We are going the week after Thanksgiving, but I don't think there is a huge difference in crowd levels between the two weeks. Both have Christmas parties that will close MK @ 7 on 4 nights, but the week after thanksgiving, on the 30th, MK will close at 4:30 instead of 7 for a cast member party.

Maybe check dining reservations and see which week you have better luck with getting what you want??

I went the first week in December last year and it was great! Very low lines for rides and characters. We went Saturday-Wednesday and hit the Christmas parade on a Tuesday night. It was pop warner week but we did not notice any crowds. I think they have competition in the beginning of week so that was probably why.

Low crowds are a point of view nowadays...........especially at WDW. However, back in 2015 my wife and I visited WDW during the first week in December and found the crowd situation quite pleasant. The weather was comfortable and the Christmas decorations were up. It gets a bit busier on the weekend but nothing like higher crowd times. We did our first MVMCP that year and we had a blast with lines only for M&G's and 7DMT.........but nothing like during the day.

They're not going to be very different. You may get a few folks that stick around immediately following Thanksgiving but it is manageable for the week. Also, Pop Warner is in early December...I think it is usually the first week...but again, it's not a huge deal. Those are definitely the 2 best weeks to visit during the holidays.

No such thing as low crowds anymore, pick whatever week works best for you...

Generally monday after thanksgiving is when all the holiday things are going but that's usually the week of december also. If either of them are a no discount week, it's generally the only time I'll use the term low crowds but it won't last the full week.
