Week 1 of Induction Done!!!

YAY! I made it through one week....no cheating :bounce: :bounce: I feel soo much better, I have alot of energy and hardly any cravings! I actually had NO cravings until Saturday afternoon when we were at a church event that had pizza and an ice cream sundae bar...it was soooo hard to pass up that lovely smelling pizza and all those goodies but I did it! :Pinkbounc My DH was so proud of me, I think he could tell my mouth was watering!!
I've decided to wait until this weekend to weigh in...I'm curious to see what I've lost, but I don't want to get attached to the scale..hehe.

I too have been on the Atkins plan for a short time and feel soo much better! I thought I would CRAVE pasta and bagels and all sorts of high carb foods - BUT I DON'T ! I will weigh myself for the 1st time on thursday morning - I don't feel that I've lost alot but I do have tons more energy - I never thought I'd like Atkins but I am glad to say I was wrong!

Way to go! Doesn't it feel good to not cheat? You went through a TOUGH test on Saturday. Nice job. I've found that trying the recipes really helps. I'm going to make a big pot of the mashed caulifower this week. It's good to focus on the yummy things you can eat. Keep up the good work. I'll think of you the next time I have to pass something up.
 
Congratulations on making it through the first week with no cheats! That's a big accomplishment and you should be proud of yourself. I'm on South Beach but our Phase 1 is like induction so I know what you must have been going through.

Keep up the great work and as DVCTiff said, concentrating on the yummy foods we can eat instead of the stuff we can't have makes these lc programs so much more doable and just plain fun!

Way to go, sweetie! I'm proud of you. Can't wait to see how well you do after the second week.
 
The first weeks on a new program are always the hardest as your body adjusts. Good for you for making it through!!

I can't believe you didn't weigh....I wouldn't be able to stand it!
