DH saw the commercial for Dance Moms and immediately banned it from the household!

No big loss, we're more 'Storage Wars' types anyway.

That dance teacher is scary I'm shocked she is able to keep any students in her classes.

I was appalled by the routine they did on thi weeks episode. I have a 7 year old in dance and I would never let her wear that costume, do those moves, or take dance from a teacher like that.

I watched Dance moms for the first time today... OMG!! Not only would I never let my child dance like they did last week but I would not put up with that dance teacher.. I don't care how good she is.. She is mean and vindictive and not a good influnce for young girls.

That being said.. I will probally watch again.. Kinda like a car wreck (you can't turn away)

I agree.. I'd never keep my daughter in that dance school, I don't care how good the teacher is. Also, if my DD were put into an outfit like the one those girls had to wear last week I would have pulled her from the dance. It was extremely inappropriate. I'm SO glad they didn't even make the top 5 with that number. I hope it sent some kind of message to the teacher that the dances and costumes need to be age-appropriate.
