Priceline NEGOTIATOR!! woot woot!​

Okay, so I never understood priceline, I never believed it... and


Last week Vin and I decided it would be best if we stayed in the hotel the night before the wedding (Our flight is a 5am)

So, a friend of mine said, the hotel- courtyard by marriot- by the airport- 3 star, that I had called and was priced 245 for that sunday- was ON priceline..

So, I said, yeah and I bet you have to bid like 200 bucks, and she said "Jenny bid the lowest as see what happens"

So, for shoots and giggles, I put in 55 dollars......

for the courtyard marriott....

and guess what!

no worries-you still have time to do another trial if you want. i think the half up half down will look so nice on you! $55 by JFK? that's awesome! so excited you got that price. i think that is one of the hotels you can see off the belt. if so it looks nice and since it probably has a convention center for businesses and usually (in my experience from traveling with work) they are really nice.

That is fantastic news about the hotel, $190 saving on the standard rate is fantastic.
I actually plan to use Priceline for my hotel in San Diego in september as i've heard you can usually get great 4* hotels that are normally around $250-$300 per night for about $80

PS- Priceline is amazing, I do it when I go visit my brother in NC and get rental cars for like $7 a day and hotels for really short money. It's amazing, and I love the William Shatner commercials, my mom and I always sing along lol, we're nerds

They have a certain minimum price that they will sell it for. So I don't think they would sell it for £10. I think the way that it works is that if a hotel has too many hotel rooms left by a certain day they would rather fill the rooms at a rate that they are still making money so Priceline would make a deal with them. I could be wrong but I think that is how it works.

Yep they have a priceline UK site and we can use the US one for booking hotels rooms in the states (what i plan on doing)
Nope not crap room, i dont even think the hotel know you used priceline to book, theres another website like it called hotwire too.
Check out a website called betterbidding.com there loads of info on there about it and you can even figure out what hotel you could end up with by looking at the amenities it has

So missy apart from you doing all your (brilliant and boootiful) DIY stuff, is everything else you have to do / book / plan ... i dunno.. one of those lists (that im trying to come up with now!?) with everything for the wedding.. from the ceremony bits to the food at the reception, transport, photography,music..... ect...

i thought one of these lists were easy to come up with, but i didnt realise how many things are added onto it that i have to arrange or make sure its arranged and im freaking already!?? I bet you have one of these lists, you have been very organised with everything so far! hehe

I dont mean to stress you more haha im just wondering (and i could steal your list and use it for my check list too so i dont leave anything out! hehe)

Hows Vinny lately.. is he any better, i forgot to ask, im sorry! How is he feeling at the moment with the 37 days to go!? I bet he cant wait to see you walking down the aisle, man, his jaw will fall to the floor when he sees you, i bet he is really excited! Okay now for the promised updates!

So, making the centepieces we had an issue. The center was dipped down and we didnt have anything that was the exact height...

UNTIL!!!!!!!!!!!

That's right ladies and gents, a snapple cap was the only exact sized thing that I could use!!!!

So now for the starting of them...

I printed it on vellum paper and then just glue dotted it lol
