One Month and One day​

Those words are so magical in their own way... since its 1 & 1 which 11 is our lucky number! okay Im a cheese ball...

Warrning- Vent- Warning-Vent

So, last night, our 300 dollar quilt that my grams picked and bought for us, got bleach onit. And we can't return it because it is from last year, and they only sell it on ebay...

Is it normal that I flipped out? I mean, literally flipped my lid. Crying hysterical hysterical hysterical. Didn't stop! Then I got rahter mean towards vin, and I am upset with myself.

I felt like amonster...couldnt control anything coming out of my mouth!!!!!!!! Insane.....

We spoke about it, and he realised that I wasn't just flipping out to flip out, i did it because I was so upset (that his mother left bleach on the floor which in turn ended up on our bed... just like our new towels that somehow got bleached)

Ithink he took it more to offense that I complained about his mother. But I was upset about alot of things, like the fact that she had been snooping around our closet, in the boxes etc. What do I have to hide? nothing, but its just the principle of the manner. I was annoyed that we are spending a lot of money on a rehearsal dinner also because we originally wanted to get catered food at the house to save us 500 dollars. But that went out the window when his mom started saying how no one has to come to the rehearsal....

So girls. I am going to ask for prayers. That I keep calm. WIth a month to go tomorrow, I dont know just how much I can take of everything....

gotta love MIL's don't you!? I'm sorry you are having issues, I know everything will be okay in the end. Maybe she is just upset also that her little boy is growing up and getting married? Not that I'm siding on her side at all, because I agree going through your closet is wrong. My future MIL cleans the room we stay in at their house while we are staying there and that annoys me because she moves all my stuff etc. But anyway, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I know it's a stressful time, but your wedding day is going to be beautiful and it will all work out in the end because you will be with your prince charming!!!

I dont really know what to do actually. I have not been able to stop crying- blaming it on allergies. Today is the last full day with my kids (class) and I am a wreck because this years group is just so so amazing, and I dont want to lose them...

I think its called stressed out, tired, and just sad to see the kids go. All of those things plus MIL stress and allergies equals one sad Jenny. Lots of big hugs, it will pass. Just think, the wait is almost over, the stress is almost gone, and soon you'll not only be married but you'll get to eat cake! Lots more hugs

I think she should NOT be going through your closets - that is very wrong of her, even if the excuse would be that she was tidying up or hoovering around your room- what if you had Vinny tied up in your closet!?? heh I would freak out big time too if my $300 quilt got messed up!

I think that you just do not need anything stressing you out this close to your wedding. People should be doing everything they can NOT to get you stressed out. It must be very hard with so much going on, its totally understandable that you are gonna flip A LOT if things arent going okay.

Its nothing new that your MIL is acting like this, is it? What is important is that you and Vinny dont argue over her, (which i can understand will be hard when she keeps doing things like this and you cant just ignore what she is doing) but you need to remember its 1 month til you get married and worrying about her is the last thing on your mind.

Do you want me to come over and kick some butt for you>?! I just want you to be happy and not stressed!! Big hugs for you and here is some flowers (silks of course!)

Stace, you just mademe laugh out loud with the tying vinnie up thing.

The truth is, that I am a compulsive cleaner. My closets are organised by color and style. Everything is placed in boxes and i clean like a nut....

So what makes me angry is that the only thing she would be snooping for... is to snoop. She did it while her sister was over too... just opened the closet and went through my vera boxes.

Vin has a interview with the union next tuesday.... and so if he gets the job his pay is going to be cut inhalf which means that we will have to live at his mothers for a while more than expected... so...
This is antoher stress adder...

I dont know. I just ordered a BUNCH of natural anxiety meds.... because I will try anything at this point.... just to remain calm

Hopefully the pills will help - but dont take too many! Have you tried to go to the docs about having some kind of stress therapy? Im just a pill phobic and stress when i hear people taking lots of pills and dont want ya taking too many pills!

Don't worry you're not alone, I had a lot of outbursts the last few weeks before my wedding too You have so many other things to worry about right now the added stress from your MIL is a lot to deal with and is completely understandable.

I'm amazed at how well you're able to handle things because I know there is no way that I could handle living with my MIL for a few days let alone live with her in the days leading up to my wedding Don't worry you'll be married and on your Disneymoon before you know it!

Hun, don't get upset over her. She should not be going through your stuff.... Thats just wrong. My other halfs parents freely admit they're going to nose through our stuff when we have a house- Hence why I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them! I'll come over there with Stace and kick some butt if you require lovely!!! Don't forget, I know totally where you're coming from! If you ever want a great big MIL vent, feel free to rant away like crazy to me!

No matter what anyone says nobody has any right to go through your stuff! I would totally flip out BIG time if someone did that to me!

AND I got a mark on my £20 quilt cover and I flipped out! So goodness knows what I'd have done if it was worth 10x that!

I don't think you need to worr about how you're feeling or acting at all, it's all completely understandable, and if someone's ruining stuff and rummaging through your things then even without the excuse of an impending wedding you have a huge case against them!

I had to post to tell you how much I enjoy reading your PJ and what a wonderful relationship you and Vin seem to have. Your wedding and Disneymoon sound beautiful!!
