I am looking to get married in Disney (second marriage for each of us). We don't want anything extravagant, just a small simple wedding for the two of us. Does Disney have a Justice of Peace that is on staff there, and can you choose to get married anywhere. I have a son who works in Disney, so I have already obtained the information about a marriage license, just need some ideas for places and what to do. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Disney offers an Escape Package (used to be called Intimate) for about 3,000 and then you can add on a bunch of extras.

However, you must go there Disneyweddings program. They are very strict about that.

Then I would suggest reading others member wedding reports to learn more and aso planning reports.

to have a wedding on disney property, you have to go through disney weddings (or justmarry for the swan or dolphin). if you want a small ceremony for the two of you you'd be looking at the escape packages. there isnt really any way to have a small JP ceremony like you suggest, it has to go through disney weddings dept.

I have heard of couples getting married at Leu Gardens in Orlando...it looks very nice. You would just need to get the officiant, which you can google or use one of the officiants that Disney uses...I have heard alot of good things about Rev Jack.

We are using Ron Rosenzweig as our officiant. He is not affiliated with any church but is a wedding notary. I thought maybe you would like his information since you mentioned a Justice of Peace.
