Hi all,
Anpther little update for you all. Scott has now picked out his suit for the wedding, it will also be worn by the best man, groom's father, my brother-in-law who's giving me away and also by the 4 ushers. It's very unusual as he's ditched the traditional white shirt in favor of a black one! He'll be wearing a red slightly shimmery waistcoat and an ivory rouche/handkerchief. Pic below but it's terrible quality I'm afraid!
Some smaller issues have been settled such as the menu, florists and bookings for the hair & make up for me and the girls. Menu for the main meal is vegetable soup or melon to start, roast beef as the main and either chocolate cheesecake or summer fruit pudding for dessert. Nice and simple.
I think I've given the florists quite a challenge for my guest table flowers! We are going with a theme of Cinderella's Coach for the meal. The favours and place cards are both coach themed, here's some pics:
I've asked the florist to put our table flowers into pumpkins instead of vases to compliment the theme. They think it's brilliant and have somebody set on the task of how to stop them going stinky!!!
Finally I was in TK Maxx this weekend and came across something so perfect I knew straight away it would be the centerpiece for the top table. I couldn't believe it when I found this, and for only £4.99 too!!!
