Wedding Rehearsal Ideas

2 questions:
Do we actually have the rehearsal @ Sea Breeze Point if we are getting married there?

If so any ideas on restraunts to hold a rehearsal dinner in the Boardwalk/Beach Club Vicinity?

Yes we are thinking about this also. We are getting married at WP but our reception ais at boardwalk. I was thinking of not having rehersal at wp but at BI (so that it save the oohs and ahhs for the day of). If this is the case than we will skip Ohana and do something on that isde to cut down on travel.

I guess it depends how many people you have. If you are only doing a few people that are in the party (we are doing an r/d & welcome in one for like 50+) than spoodles has a private room, for something more casual the brew works could probably accomodate you. We were thinking of the Cape May buffet...so that everythimng is included in one price, there is a good assortment of food and it is casual. I guess a private party at the attic or ariel's could work also but then you have more mins to worry about Good luck.

Just to make sure...only custom brides get a rehearsal. If you have scheduled an intimate wedding, there is no rehearsal.

Okay, now at the boardwalk area there are lots of options for dinner.

Spoodles is fabulous (as was already mentioned) and you might try the Flying Fish as well, or the Big River Brewing Company. Also, you could try the Yachtsman Steakhouse (over at the Yacht Club) and you might find something at either the Swan or Dolphin as well...and that is all just in the area.

You could also decide to do something at one of the World Showcase restaurants (if your bridal party all has tickets, and if it's not too late) for dinner.

normally the rehearsal is held at the ceremony venue unless their is another wedding or bad weather then the rehearsal is moved to one of the ballrooms.

as for rehearsal dinner venues spoodles at the boardwalk & palio at the swan both offer private rooms. there is also a number of other restuarants that have been mentioned like the clambake buffet at the yacht clubs cape may cafe & flying fish cafe at the boardwalk. take a look at the menus at http://allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm#res

Having your rehearsal at SBP would be helpful so you can see the walkways and what part everyone plays at what time. I know I was a lot less anxious on our wedding day knowing what sides the guys and girls would walk down and at what point our EM would tell me and my Dad to walk.

My MIL/FIL offered to pay for the rehearsal dinner for us but wanted to invite everyone who was invited to the wedding (42 people) and we checked out the Attic at the BW. It was very beautiful but expensive. Ultimately, we decided instead to do our rehearsal dinner at the Olive Garden which was close to downtown Disney. It was perfect there!

We just had our rehersal dinner at the Attic in the Boardwalk on the Villa side. It is the cutest place with an inside area that has big chairs and couches and a deck area. I think it fits a total of 10 tables for 4 people each with most of the tables outside. The view is beautiful and you can see the epcot fireworks from the deck.

It a nice private place and a great alternative to having your rehersal dinner at one of the resturants.

If you want to do your Rehearsal at your location, everyone has to be in the night before your rehearsal. The only time they will do your rehearsal is BEFORE the park opens. Otherwise you get convention space (hopefully). I am not going to be able to have my rehearsal at my location...just b/c of the timing on when everyone is getting in.
