I sent my planner a bottle of Givenchy Angel & Demons perfume. She had smelled it on my mom at the DP and asked what it was because it smelled so good. So I sent her a bottle.

I gave my planner a Target gift certificate, and a couple of unique Nova Scotian items (a bottle of local wine, some Maple Soap, and a suncatcher).

Ooh good idea! Maybe I'll get some things that are local to New England!

I gave mine grandchildren, lol.

(My mom was a wedding planner and refused any payment or gift. Just told me to hurry up and start breeding!)

She did love getting potted plants, but only because she loved them. I guess you'd have to find out what yours likes!

Good question...I'm at a loss...and when exactly do you pass this gift off? It makes more sense to send it after the fact (at least to me it does...less to worry about the day of...)

if i was planning a wedding i would give my wedding planner a bottle of a really nice champagne! and write on it "thnk you for all your help and hard work"....

Being my planner was originally from New York, I got him a Juniors Cheesecake to remind him of home. ahhhh juniors..... I had it shipped about a month after the wedding with a card saying thanks for everything. I also sent a really nice box of chocolates to his assistant since she was also wonderful. Food/dessert is always appreciated with a nice note.

We are from Canada, so wanted to give her something from home. We gave her a bottle of maple syrup, and some maple sugar candies along with a nice card.
She wrote a nice letter to us after the wedding thanking us for the gifts that were obviously thought of before we even flew down to Florida
