wedding pavilion times

The driver stops off at locations to take your pictures, ive not heard about that :drive: we thought you have the wedding take some pic's cut the cake take more pic's, and if you have a reception/ desert party thats it. unless you make your own arrangements.
That is our problem doing extra special things, but making sure the kids don't get too tired :bounce:

You get a limo inc in package for 4 hours, if you choose to use the limo on wedding day one option is the driver will take you a round the Disney resort showing you areas most guests don't see or know of & will stop off & using your camera takes photos a long the way

Sorry to bring this back up just when it seemed it was settled. I am a custom bride booked for a Tuesday April 24th 2007, with my wedding at the WP at 5pm. I was told by DFTW that they used to do the even hour ceremonies during the week, but starting in 07 they're the same every day - 10 am, 12, 2:30, 5 and 7:30. We've gone back and forth between the 2:30 and 5, but we're settled on the 5 as we're doing an Illuminations reception in EPCOT and 5pm works better for that.

Hope I've helped.

You've certainly helped me as I was gonna phone Virgin up tomorrow to check they've got their facts right! Thanks!

Then we may use the limo to be driven around the Disney complex as other brides have said that the driver stops off at locations to take your pics. That ll take up 4 hours so just before the times up we ll pick up family from Poly to go to California Grill for dinner reception. Have drinks after dinner & end evening with Wishes Cruise

that's a great idea, I've not heard that before but it's definately something to think about. Would you just leave it up to the driver to choose the 'best' locations for pics or are you aware of any good places already?

Thats exactly my thoughts, you only get one day to wear it & have all the attention on you so im certainly gonna make the most of it

for sentimental reasons I'm wearing my original dress for our VR (hence BIG diet to fit back into it!!!). I hate to waste money and it's a perfectly good dress that I loved then and still love now

Also just note that during those photo shoots especially in the MK there is a high likely hood that your dress will get wet and dirty. The workers are there in the morning spraying the sidewalks etc. which means when you stop for your pictures and let your dress down it can become very dirty. Keep this in mind when making your decisions. :goodvibes

We're gonna have our MK shoot the day after for that reason and also didn't want to risk damaging my flowers for our VR photo's (sure it would be easier to conceal any damage in the early morning photo's than the actual ceremony)

I don't think I am going to have the MK shoot. As we leave for St Lucia the very next day and I don't want my man to see my dress before the ceramony.

We ll be going out for a planning session the year beforehand but i think i ll just end up leaving it down to the driver, its more fun that way plus it ll be more of a surprise. I remeber someone writing that they were taking to a small village that not many guests seem to know a bout, they said its amazing to see just how big the Disney estate is not inc the parks. I think we ll probably be too busy being loved up  to really notice where we are anyway so id just be hoping on getting loads more pics

Great point about the dress getting wet and dirty! I would HATE to walk down the aisle of the WP looking like I had just run through a sprinkler in the garden :) The more I thought about it, the more I realized I would rather wait until another day. It might be fun to get to put my dress back on. Then it won't feel like it's over on the day of the wedding ;)

I don't think they will but it never hurts to ask. It says right on the website that the shoot is for bride and groom only but they may make an exception although I wouldn't expect it.

Oh dear, that would be a shame

Theres only going to be 3/4 of us so like yours it ll be very intimate. After ceremony & reception ie cake cutting/toast/dance (i know theres only a few of us but we ve decided we ve gotta have a lill dance together) we ll spend time having our pics taken as definatly want them taken on GF beach.

Probably go back to Poly (where we ll be staying) to relax on the beach there & have few drinks .
Then we may use the limo to be driven around the Disney complex as other brides have said that the driver stops off at locations to take your pics. That ll take up 4 hours so just before the times up we ll pick up family from Poly to go to California Grill for dinner reception. Can't go in any parks as i really want to keep my dress on for the whole day :woohoo:

Can you wear wedding dress on the wishes cruise? as this was something we were thinking about.

I think your idea is perfect, what can be more special on your VR than wearing the original dress from your wedding day. I m sure that once we re married if we choose to have a vr that i ll do the same by wearing my dress again. Don't think i could ever bring myself to sell it or get rid of it . I totally agree with you, why spend all that money on a new dress when you ve already got a gown thats perfect. Good luck on the diet hun, if you can please send me a pic of your dress as id love to see it

You sure can wear your dress, i think id be a bit put off if you weren't allowed. Think it looks beautiful in pics where you can see Wishes with both bride & groom fully kitted out, what can be more romantic than that

can you also wear your dress if you hire the boats to watch the epcot fireworks, as we might like to do illuminations. :rotfl:
