If this helps any, I'm taking the girls to get manicures, pedicures, and lunch the day before the wedding. And, we are making gift baskets (which, hopefully, they will receive when they check-in) full of treats, photo frames, candles, jewelry for them to wear, etc.
I bought my bridal party the princess jewelry boxes from disneydirect.com. Worked out perfectly by matching their hair colors with those of the princesses and then put the wedding day jewelry inside.
I am making relaxation bags for my girls, and I am also buying them wedding day jewelry. i have bought the following things for their bags..
bag - old navy
bath confetti - target
loofah - target
facial masks - walmart
pedicure sets - nordstroms
still looking for...
soap
candles
pic frames
pajamas
socks
etc...
hope this helps!!
I am not sure about the guys... i am having a hard time with that. all of the guys in the wedding are so different, so i might just buy them individual persoanl gifts
Those ideas are so wonderful! My fiance and I are clueless about what to do for the groomsmen! For the kids in the bridal party, we were thinking of getting them Pal Mickeys. I think they're around $50 in the parks but down the street at the outlets, I hear they are under $30.
Don't know if you're interested or not, but I just stopped by White Barn/Bath and Body Works and saw that the day after Christmas they will have all of their soaps and candles rediculously (sp?) cheap. I know my friends love that stuff!
Thanks!!! Unfortunatley, I am going to be one of those out shopping the day after christmas! There is just so much stuff I need to get, and I want to get the good deals!!
I bought my bridesmaids their jewelry. I'm always careful to buy things my friends and family will wear again not just things I think are pretty when buying gifts for them.
We had 16 people at our wedding and we made them all gift bags with personalized mouse ears, carriage frames, mickey pens and autograph books, park kits which included: rain ponchoes, mini first aid kits, purrell, and a water bottle. Brides maids and my mom were also given jewlery to match their dresses and the guys were also given mickey pocket watches or mickey zippos. At the reception I got a really cute pic of everyone in their ears.
I only had my best friend in my wedding. I paid for her hair and makeup the day of the wedding. I also bought her a sterling silver heart key ring from Tiffany and Co. If you have a lot of bridesmaids that can be expensive. How many do you have?
I've been in a lot of weddings and my favourite gift was a pre-wedding deluxe manicure and pedicure at a spa. I really enjoyed it, and it saved me money because I would have had to do it anyways.
I'll probably be doing the same thing for my wedding as well as a disney-related gift basket (for park touring).
