Okay ladies & gents, send me your newsletters!

I would like to see if the "important information" I'm providing is in sync with the "important information" ya'll are providing! Go figure I'm the type to neglect to include something important like the wedding ceremony location.
:rotfl:
Or if not a newsletters, what are the things you would want/need to know if you were going to a destination wedding?

Thanks!

Hi, mine are in pdf so I can't post them. I need to take photos of them or convert them.

All my guests (except one) are from the UK and only two of them have been to Disney before. A couple of them went years and years ago so I don't count that!

I've put flight info, hotel info, a bit of local info, wedding details, ticket details and a 'Why did we choose Disney' section as I don't think they know why. I also included a 'Fun Facts about Disney' section.

Only 2 guests are going to be stopping at Disney so I haven't really included any Disney hotel info, but I have put some info about the resorts we will be at on the day which is the Boardwalk, GF and POR. We are going into Epcot after the lunch and photos to 'play' and have dinner later and we have made it clear that we are not including admittance to Epcot on the day, but everything else is included.

All of our guests presumed they were paying for their own meals so we put that everything is compliments of the happy couple to avoid any confusion or embarrassment on the day.

We are having a welcome dinner at the House of Blues and again we made it clear that we are not paying for that. We put a line in that read 'the House of Blues has a menu to suit all tastes - and wallets!' which we thought was a subtle way of doing it!

For us the most important thing was making sure the non-Disneyites had enough info ie websites and general info and to make it clear what we were paying for.

My best friend Kirsty said everyone should pay for their own meals as they would have had to pay for something to eat anyway!!

Here's a pic of mine! It was more focused on transport because instead of sending multiple newsletters, we sent a couple emails over the course of a few months. This was our only newsletter, and it was mailed to everyone with a packet of park maps, info about our meet 'n' greet, and the transportation schedules I made up.

P.S. I stole the stern subhead from a fellow DISer!

...What the heck, here are the pocket schedules too!

Don't knock yourself out over it! :) One thing I've found from reading these boards a long time is that we go to all this work putting together newsletters and info for our guests, and then half of them don't even read it and just call us asking all these questions we've answered in our newsletters...:headache:

Of course guests need the basic info on making reservations and tickets and transport, but I found when I barraged them with emails and mailings and stuff, they seemed to tune it out. So don't stress out too much about having the perfect newsletter! :thumbsup2
