Wedding Interrupts Mod Duties!!

I apologize for not being around as much in recent weeks, but I have been busy busy with my wedding and impending move to Chicago. Crissup and I were joined together in marriage on April 11, 2004 in Las Vegas! I will be moving shortly to Chicago and once I am settled in my new home, I shall then return to my more frequent schedule here on the DIS! Here is a pic to share with you all...

I've already been educating her in how to properly drive, Chicago Style!! Of course, I understand that the residents of Carol's current city have been less than impressed with her aggressive new driving style as she practically runs them over.

Now, if I can only break her habit of ruining hotdogs by putting catsup on them! I keep trying to explain that the Chicago dog is very flavorful and that catsup is a major faux pas. But, she has fallen in love with Daisy Brand hotdogs.

Well Crissup if she is already running people off the road you did a wonderful job on the training. She will learn that catsup doesn't go on a hotdog especially whe she gets to a stand that doesn't even have catsup! There are a few rules in Chicago driving if you remember them you will be fine...
1. Never use a turning signal to switch lanes the turning signal means speed up and don't let them in.
2. Always wait 30 seconds before going after the light turns green, somebody is going to take the red light.
3. The longer you beep the horn the more mad you are. You will learn to ignore all the horns it just takes practice and time!

Crissup: Has Carol driven on the Kennedy yet? As anyone knows that has driven on it in Chicago that is a true test of driving? Even driving in the City compared to the suburb is different. But from the sounds of it she is adapting well.
