Wedding Gowns - where allowed?

If you have a group reservation for the buffet dinner at Ohana's (for example a reception dinner for an intimate wedding), are you allowed to wear your wedding gown?

I am pretty sure you can wear your wedding gown to any restaurant outside of the parks -- I am sure someone else can verify, but we have our intimate dinner scheduled at Maya Grill @ Coronado and I was told I could wear my gown there -- so I am sure you could at O'hana's as well. HTH

Yes, you can wear your gown to any resort restaurant. You just cannot wear it into the parks.

You can also wear your gown on the Wishes Cruise, Illuminations Cruise and Grand I.

why do you think they have the wedding gown ban in the parks?

The standard Disney answer is they don't want little girls confused thinking your a princess. I think it may also have to do with liability, I'm sure someone would try to ride space mountain with a 30 ft train and get killed if Disney didn't put in limits.

but after my reception is over at 2pm -- it sounds like i CANT go back to the magic kingdom or MGM studios in my gown right?

No, you can only wear it during a FTW event, ex: ceremony, reception, dessert party. HTH
