Wedding Gown Hidden Mickey's

I know that some one or two of our brides was going to add hidden mickeys. Does anyone have a picture of this?

I don't have a pic of mine--but the mother of my maid of honor made my dress for me...on my wedding day after I got dressed my maid of honor told me there was a hidden mickey on it! Of course she was mischevious and would not tell me right away where it was! It was near the stitching kinda under the bust off to the side, it was 3 pearls stiched together! Such a nice touch!

Well, I didn't get any really good veil pics from the wedding, so here is a detail shot I took today:

I made the veil, did the edging and Mickeys myself. My mom did the rest of the beading. I just love it so much, it's one of my favorites from the wedding!

Was thinking the same thing lol!

Also in addition to hidden mickeys on the dress, you can have the florist put hidden mickeys (from plastic crystals) in the center of your flowers if you like. They will be in my bridal bouquet and my fiance's boutiniere They cost like a dollar each - the cheapest thing in my wedding

I didn't use any Hidden Mickey's in my gown or in my bridesmaids' gowns; however, I did have Disney Floral use them in our bouquets. Here's a close-up photo that shows this: click here. I should also note that the ribbon on my bouquet was anchored by a Hidden Mickey.

I thought using Hidden Mickey's in the bouquets was a fun way to incorporate a little bit of Disney magic into my vow renewal.

The Disney Florist really did a beautiful job with the bouquets. I was very happy that I chose to have the Hidden Mickey’s added. Since I didn't really have many Disney "touches" for my vow renewal & dinner party, a few Mickey's hidden amongst the flowers was the perfect way to incorporate some special magic into my day.

As to the photos that you've viewed, I must apologize that I haven't added more to my on-line photo album. I've been trying to find the time over the past year to tell my story. I have been releasing photos as my story unfolded. I wanted people to see what I saw at every step of the way as I planned, and then experienced, my vow renewal. If they saw the photos before I told my story, they might not get the full effect of the magic that Disney is capable of creating. I know my words and photographs will never be able to fully do that night justice, but at least I'm trying my best to convey what I experienced. It truly was the most magical night of my life. (I have two threads on the Trip Reports Board about my FTW vow renewal planning session & actual vow renewal.)

JonetteA, I hope that if you don't add Hidden Mickey's to your gown, you at least add them to your flowers. It really is nice knowing that you've got a little magic hidden in your bouquet.

I wish I had a picture of my hidden mickey , but on the sash of my dress I had my mom embroider a D on my dress with kind of decorative scrolling around it, and she snuck in a hidden mickey into the D it was a really nice surprise from her.
