Wedding Gift

I am looking to buy a nice pocket watch for DF as a wedding gift. The problem is I do not know where to look! Does anyone have any suggestions of stores or websites I could visit? It is something I would like to be able to hand down to our children, so I would like one of decent quality. It seems like all of the sites I look at have wonderful wrist watches, but I am looking for a pocket watch. Thanks!

i would try a jewelry store, we got our rings at bailey banks & biddle and they had several beautiful ones to choose from...i'm probably going to do the same thing, my mother gave my father a pocket watch for their wedding, so it's kind of a tradition...

Not sure if you are interested in a Disney themed pocket watch but when we were down there in 1997 they had a beautiful 25 Anniversary Pocket Watch that my boyfriend bought. It was goldtone and probably around $125.00. I got the matching 25 Anniversary gold charm that I then wore on a chain around my neck - it is now on my charm bracelet.

I just checked on ebay and they have a few great collectable ones. If you do not want to purchase from ebay I am sure they would be down in Disney. We purchased our 25 Anniversary items at the WOD store in Downtown Disney in the jewlery section of the store. They even engraved the back of my charm. I chose "Remember the Magic" with the year as this was the promotion that Disney was using that year.

I sent you a link to one but I am not sure if it worked. If you go on ebay and put in Disney Pocket Watch and do a search you come up with quite a few really nice ones (along with some not so nice ones). There is a great train one there with Mickey being a conductor on a steam engine and there is also a Steamboat Willie one that is really nice. I would suggest if you do not want to purchase through ebay just to look at them to give you an idea. You can always call Disney merchandising and see if they have any in stock ot check down there when you go down.

Downtown Disney has a few Disney themed pocket watches. You could check there. My DF almost bought a Jack Skeleton one when we were down there in March.
