My sister's FIL and his GF are FINALLY getting married after about 15 years of dating. They are both in their early 70s and it is a 2nd wedding for both. They didn't live together while married so they're combining two houses worth of stuff.
I have NO idea what to give them for a gift. I feel a little silly writing them a check like I do for my friends (should I get over that?).
I was thinking a gift card to a nice restaurant in the area? Or maybe to nicer store (Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, etc so they can make their house their own?) They live in the Philly area, so maybe a museum membership? I'm just not sure what is an appropriate gift.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

If it were me, I would offer to come over and make them a nice dinner for couple at one. I am going to do that for a couple who just bought a home. You could supply all the ingredients for the dinner.

So... I talked to my sister (it's her FILs wedding) and apparently at the bottom of the invite, they essentially requested no gifts!! I'm going to get them a gift card to their favorite restaurant but now I'm not going to stress if it's adequate enough!! Thanks for the ideas though!
