Hello Ladies:

How many of you had favors at your intimate wedding?

What did you have?

I am thinking of doing Cinderella themed favors since they sell so many different items.

Should we have favors for such a small event?

Thanks again ::MinnieMo

I'm planning on handing out wedding favors, because with an intimat wedding only a certain amount of people can come, and since they left their jobs, and homes to be a part of the magic- they need something to remember it by.
Since our wedding is going to be a December wedding, I am thinking of doing christmas ornaments with our names and wedding date, and if I can fit it on there WDW.

I had an intimate wedding...it was just me and my DH! But when I saw the custom m&m's I had to have them!! :rotfl:

I bought I think 30 of them and just handed them out to friends and family...not a big deal, but I had fun with them! :)

The 365 Days of Christmas store in DTD may be a good place to look for ornaments. They sell a line of Mickey and Minnie kissing under the Mistletoe... it's in creams, golds, and reds. Very Christmas!

Impressions is a good option. They work very closely with Disney and are based in Celebration. There are a number of products in Franck's from Impressions.

Fairy Tale Wedding Store also has a number of items.

Good luck!

I did a welcome bag instead of favors. Some of my guests got the bag when they got to the wedding as I was not able to get to their hotel before htey arrived but I think everyone liked them. Then as a final treat for our guests we took a cruise on the Grand 1

We had our Intimate Wedding in October and ordered the Mickey and Minnie wedding chocolates - 5 dark chocolate and 5 milk chocolate. They were wrapped in celophane and tied with ribbons in our wedding colors. They looked really nice on the table with the cahmpagne and glasses. Everyone loved them and commented on how cute they were. My sister ate hers for breakfast the next day! I think everyone loves a little favor, something to enjoy and remember the day - unless they eat :rotfl:

This is a (Custom) destination wedding for me, so I too want to have Welcome Bags. What do people put in the Welcome bags . . . a little bit of everything?? How much did you spend on each welcome bag? Did you bring the Welcome bags with you on the plane, or did you purchase things in Orlando?

I would probably have to make around 65-70, yikes. Any insght would be a great help, thanks!!

We had white chocolate mickey heads with our names and the date of our wedding. They were both very cute and tastey.

We're doing gift bags when everyone arrives.

cooling neck wrap, park maps, pen, mug, camera, sunscreen, anti bac gel, advil, chapstick, hershey kisses, travel games, deck of cards, emmory board, sewing kit, water bottle, i think there's a couple more little things, but i can't remember, basically disney survival stuff.

And then at the wedding everyone is getting a mickey wine glass (as our favor), that we'll use for the sparkling cider. We're getting them at World of Disney for like $8 when we arrive, and giving them to Jennifer when I arrive at the wedding and she said she'd have no prob setting them up for us.

Hoep this helps.

Melissa

What I would have done if we had gone with our original, original plan of WDW in nov/dec is the mickey silver mesh ball ornament with hershey's kisses inside. I don't know if they make them anymore (can't find a pic), or even if you could take the top off to put in hershey's kisses! LOL

anyway, that would have been way expensive for the amount of guests we had, but with an intimate...I suppose anything goes! :)

Yes, I know those, have seen them in the Christmas Store in Downtown Disney. I think they open up but am not sure. That is a wonderful idea - even if it is not a Christmas Wedding. It would be really nice to put a ribbon on top with your names and the date of the wedding.

Thanks. I'll have to give them a shot. I'm sure we'll find just what we're looking for there. :flower:

My EM sent me an email with all the different chocolates that Disney offered. We told her what we wanted, I think they were around $4.50 each. I still have a few of them.
