I'm getting alfred angelo design number 2010 with Claret as my accent colour. (I'm too new to be able to post the pic of it )for my wedding at the Gazebo on 8-9-10

I just keep picturing the claret along the botton on the green grass.

Hello!

Just a little update!

For those of you who dont know haha i got my dress on Saturday! (photos on my PJ!)

Im so happy with it. The dress reflects me, i never used to be girly, and im not girly on a everyday basis, and i dont even get the chance to dress up nice for work! Its not about the opportunity to dress up, the dress reflects the way i feel inside. I used to be the biggest tomboy who you would never catch wearing a dress or wearing any girly colours because i hated the way i looked when i was younger.

In this dress, it will allow me to feel like a princess for the day, it will allow me to feel beautiful and special- just how any brides dress should make them feel. I want to feel like a princess when i marry my prince as cliche' as it sounds! After all, its Disney, and you only get ONE day to do this, one day to dress up and feel special.

I knew it was the one when i didnt want to take it off, and every other dress i tried on, i just kept comparing it to 'mine'.

YAAAY!

i got my dress ..... all i need to do now is ... um... book the wedding and everything else! haha!

Trust me, you will know when you have your dress. I tried on so many, and i thought i have found the one dress, but i was still unsure of it, then this came along and i just knew. I cant even describe it, but you just know when its the dress- it makes you feel so happy and you dont want to take it off, and you cant compare it to any other dresses!

Are you planning to get a dress soon?

I saw one dress from the internet that i knew was the one- when i saw it in person, i didnt even want to put it on it looked that bad!

Also, a little advice, try even the styles you dont like on- you may be surprised. I didnt even notice my dress - i looked all through the rails and didnt see any i liked, then the sales lady told me to put on 'my' dress and i didnt even take any notice of it and im glad she picked it out or i would have never noticed it

I've seen one that was a maggie sotero copy and it was nice, make sure you know the fabric they use.

Is this dress heavy? I heard from someone on here (perhaps it was you?) that the dress is heavy because of all the heavy detail on it?

Still, if it was heavy, its worth it! hehe!

Its not to bad there is no beading and I think that always makes it way more heavy.

I actually bought it used because I could not let my parents spend that much on a dress. New its 3,700 for dress and 1,000 for veil. I never thought I would buy a used dress but I wanted it so bad and no way could pay 5,000. A lot of times there are trunk sales where you can get them discounted as well but none are ever anywhere near my house.

Also while looking for this dress I found another Kirstie Kelly Dress For $100 brand new on ebay. Free shipping to. The tags are still on it and everything. I think I may wear it for my Epcot Photo shoot or just resell it. Its Jasmine 1913. Its buetiful and I think it will fit in with a photo shoot in Epcot> I will wear the Giselle one for the MK photo shoot and everything else.

I am looking for a dress for my vow renewal in December 2010, I would like to get a dress with an accent color, in either red or black. Does anyone know of any specific dresses or designers I could look at?

I think that type of dress has been pretty popular the last couple of years, and you should be able to find one almost anywhere. I know David's Bridal carries some, which is a nation-wide chain. There are some others if you look back at some of the past pages of this thread as well.

Make sure to post pictures when you find some!
