Wedding Dinner

Can you book a wedding dinner through disney catered events instead of thru DFTW. We are looking to have a ceremony at the Swan and just want to go out to dinner afterward. I wanted to see if it was still possible for our group to just go to dinner at the Cali Grille and use the Sonoma Room, without having a "wedding reception". i wanted to look into other options thru disney catered events as well, but not sure if they would refer me to DFTW when i call and say its for a wedding celebration .

If you're just having dinner, I wouldn't mention wedding at all. You could even call it a Rehearsal Dinner, Family Celebration, Anniversary, whatever. I would try getting in touch with the manager at Cali Grill Directly and see from there.
