I have started collecting things for my wedding day emergency survival kit. So far I have the following -

Wrinkle Release
Laundry stick
Antacids
Baby wipes
Baby Powder
Hand Sanitizer
Eye Drops,
Cotton Rounds
Q-tips
Feminine Products
Sunscreen,
Hairspray
Nail File
Nail Polish (clear and a nice natural champagne color)
Adhesive bandages
Lip balm
Facial Cleansing Wipes
Lint Roller
Lotion
Bobby pins
Hairspray
Comb/Teaser
Razors
Tweezers
Oil Blotting Papers
Mirror
Breath mints
Dental Floss
Cloth handkerchief
Sewing kit
fingernail clippers

I am curious as to whether or not others have used (or are preparing) an emergency/survival kit and what you put in your (or are planning to use)?

Any thoughts on what else might be needed?

deodorant
head ache meds
water
eye drops
snacks

I found a list here: http://www.bronzebudgetbride.com/magazine/read/diy-wedding-day-emergency-kit_543.html

I also wanted to do this for DF:

Tissues (i didn't see them on your list)
Those Whisp toothbrush things, in case you have something on your teeth
Double sided tape/fashion tape (for things that won't stay up or for hems that come undone
Face Powder

Super cute for your DF PurpleGirl!
Thanks for all the suggestions- they’re great.
Yes it is quite a bit isn’t it? I want to have things on hand that others might need given I have people flying from all over the states and out of the country. I also think it is a nice gesture as the hostess of the event.

That seems like a lot of stuff. .

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe just tailor it to what you think could be a possibility (for example, I know I don't need baby powder but NEED clorox wipes or something of the sort). Thankfully my MOH has a Mary Poppins style purse that has most of these emergency things in it all the time.

I would add band aids and aspirin (if you add som water and make it into a paste it helps the swelling if you get a pimple) and basic meds.I saw antacid but pain meds if you don't take aspirin, allergy meds and eye drops if that's an issue, or eye drops just to take the red from your eyes if you cry like I will :)

Adding another vote for safety pins & double stick tape, and pain killers of some kind. As a wedding photographer, those are usually the three things people ask me for the most. :)

I was glad I have packed a pair of flip flops. Even though I thought I had broken in my wedding shoes they still bothered me.

The one "item" I was without and that caused stress were phone numbers. I left my cell phone in the room and my husband's phone didn't have the numbers of all our guests. There was a mix up with the limo picking up guests and my parents at a Disney hotel. Very small and they were just a few minutes late but having had all the same numbers in both our phones would have alleviated some stress.

Yes.. Get some DR Scholl or the like type of folded flats... They can be a lifesaver!

If someone else is carrying your emergency kit, I don't think it's a lot... I am the mom that everyone comes to because I have the Mary poppies Coach purse...

Purplegirl1818,

I love the groomsmen survival kit! What are some the thing that you would put in that kit?

Thank you in advance :)
