I know that when BF and I get married we'd like to have our wedding on our regular anniversary. The only problem is that this June is the last time our anniversary falls on a weekend for about 7 years.........and there is no way i'm going to be engaged for 7 years! Has anyone ever heard of a wedding being held mid week? Say Mon-Fri? Just wondering thanks!

Are you getting married in Disney? There are tons of mid week weddings in disney. We are getting married on a Thursday at Sunset Point. Our regular anniversary is January 19, but our daughter will be back in school from Christmas break at that point, so we are having it on January 3rd. We are just going to consider January our anniversary month.;)

My wedding is going to be on a monday and a lot of other brides here have weekday weddings scheduled...

I like the idea that mine is on a monday so that my guests have time to travel over the weekend and enjoy disney...

We were married on a Thursday. We didn't have a Disney wedding (but did go there for our honeymoon). Disney does weddings on every day of the week.

We are getting married on a wednesday at Sea Breeze Point.

We are getting married on a Monday. It does save you a bit of money too.

We got married on a Monday. The minimums were lower and many of our outside vendors gave us discounts for this.

FH and I are getting married on a Thursday. We did that mainly to save money, but secondly b/c it'll give our guests time to fly back home that weekend and recoup if they want.

We got married on a Monday. The date just fell that way (it was my grandparents' wedding anniversary too), but it ended up working out great. :thumbsup2

I did get a lot of, "What?? You're getting married on a Monday?? Who does that???" comments at work but they weren't invited so I didn't care*. Hee hee.

*Because it was a family-only wedding, not because I hate my co-workers or anything! :rotfl:

We were married on a Thursday. Non-Disney brides have always questioned that but I don't think it's that unusual.

We're doing a Monday too at Epcot. Besides giving our guests time to travel it also gives us the chance to have some pre-wedding festivities like a bridal tea, etc. on the weekend. This way our guests don't have to take a lot of days off work. We were originally wanting to get married on our anniversary- Leap Day- but since it fell on a Friday we opted for the following Monday.

A Tuesday bride here, and getting married on our anniversary. I really don't think the day matters too much at Disney. Most people will be on there vacations when they come to your wedding. They will be taking the entire week off more than likely, so it really won't make a difference what day it is to them.
