Hi girls. I know I have found different cake prices on people's PJs, but now I can't seem to find anything. How much did you pay for your wedding cake (or are you going to pay)? We are probably going to have about 50 people at the reception. Thanks!

Cake prices vary depending on the amount of decoration. They range from $7.50/person for buttercream-covered cakes all the way to $17.50/person for elaborate fondant-covered cakes. The minimum size is 50 people.

Most cakes require a custom quote from the bakery, although there are set prices for the styles listed in Disney's cake CD and available to browse here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1618642

Mad Hatter/Whimsy cakes are not priced by the slice. They cost $450 for 2-tiers (50 people), $980 for 3 tiers (serves 85), and $1,550 for 4 tiers (serves 185!).

Let's see... my BEO doesn't say how many it was supposed to serve, just that it serves 50 people minimum. The third tier isn't counted in the number of servings because because they think you will take it with you for your anniversary.

Our cake was for 50 people. It was a 2 tier mad hatter style, but a custom design. It was $450. We thought that was a great price! You can see pictures of it in my TR, link is in my siggy.
