wedding cake charms

i am sorry i am full of questions tonight!

has anyone used the wedding cake charms in their cake? does disney allow? will they put them in? how does it work at the reception witht he flow and all???

i think it might me cute.

The wedding charms is a Victorian tradition. Charms were placed between the layers of the cake with ribbons attached hanging out. The bridesmaids each pulled one and then whatever charm they got was symbolic of their future. For instance one might have a ring and then the girl that pulls that one will be married next, another might have a horseshoe or 4 leaf clover and that girl would have nothing but good luck, etc. It's a fun tradition that I'm considerring doing at the bridesmaid luncheon instead of the reception.

I've seen it done at bridal showers, its very cute. I've never seen it done at a reception though.

I dont see why Disney wouldn't let you do it. Unless they deem the charms unsanitary or something?
