DF and I are designing a ceremony that includes rites/traditions from all of the different parts of our backgrounds and one of these rites will be jumping the broom. It didn't occur to us that we provide the broom until a couple of weeks ago (we can be a bit dense) when an aunt asked what color the broom would be.

I have been looking around but I am not finding much I am thrilled with, so I thought I'd ask here and see if anyone has gotten a wedding broom or has suggestions of places to look. :goodvibes

Here are a few sites that sell wedding brooms:

http://www.stuartscreations.com/wedding_brooms.htm
http://www.theweddingbroom.com/
http://jumpingbrooms.com/
http://www.imperialbroom.com/wedding_broom_list.htm

However, if you're "craft-y" at all, this would be an easy thing to do on your own. Buy a nice handmade broom and decorate it with ribbons, silk flowers or whatever.

For handmade brooms:

You'll find lots more if you Google "Hand Made Brooms".

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info. After what I have been seeing online, I am leaning towards making it myself. :cutie:

I have to agree -- the already-made ones I've seen are way too "foofy" for me. Too much lace and stuff on them for my taste. I'd probably buy a plain one at the supermarket and call it good, but that's just me. :rotfl2:
