wedding attire in worls showcase epcot

We are having a dessert party after our wedding in The UK at epcot. We have a wedding at 3pm in the GF and then after photos and reception would like in meal in Epcot. Do you know if we could have a meal and is there any where in the resturant thats a little bit special we could sit out the way, also so you can wear wedding attire.

If not is there any where else we could could have private dining before the dessert party. There is only 6 of us.

I don't believe wedding attire is allowed at any of the parks.

The only reason I was able to wear my dress was because we had a dessert party as part of a Custom Wedding. I don't believe any other exceptions are made, but you can check with your EM, maybe if they book for you?

I do have to add, after our wedding I totally understand why Disney tries to avoid this as much as possible. We were a complete spectacle - lots of people asking questions, stopping us, and that was on a very short stroll from American Gardens theater to the UK terrace with DH and I surrounded by guests and guides. It was fun to be the center of attention, but even on what was a fairly slow evening in December it got very crowded a few times.

Hi there,
We are having an Illuminations Dessert at the UK lower in Epcot and we have the option to wear our Wedding Attire if we want. We considered doing the Illuminations Dinner and have our wedding cake there for desert but have decided against it. Our reasons for not doing a dinner was the timing. We would have been able to wear our wedding attire, but the dinner would not start until 8 or 8:30 pm (not sure on the exact time) and that was a lot of time from the Intimate Ceremony at 3pm until dinner.

But if you are looking at doing a dinner at one of the restaurants located at Epcot, vs an Illuminations Dinner & Dessert, I am afraid you will not be able to wear your wedding attire.

They will allow you to wear it to Illuminations, because those are private parties held on private terraces, where as the restaurants are public.

Disrookie, where is this? i never heard of a lower part to see Illuminations. How many will you have there?

All the dessert parties are on private terraces? I assumed they roped off an area for you. Anyone know where this would be for Italy?

The UK Lower Terrace is next door to the Rose and Crown pub there is like a two tier garden/terrace area UK Lower and Upper.


There are some designated viewing areas like Italy, France and UK but they also rope areas off as well for example in Morocco. I believe the spot in Italy is known as the Isola.

That lower level sounds great...i assume it is right on the water...

I was thinking italy because im planning dinner there but I like the sound (or sight) of Engalnd now.

I have to say Pete it is one of the best views - I've been to dessert parties at France and UK Upper but I loved being by the water for our Illuminations Party.
