Wedding at sea - well sort of!!

The planning demon in me have already started thinking of our upcoming Christmas 2005 cruise...

It is also sort of our 15th anniversary, because the actual date is in May and I was thinking of repeating of vows at sea and on her birthday.

The question is, does anyone know who to contact to find out more details?

Have anyone done it and can provide some details?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

We renewed our vows last December for our 30th anniversary on board the Wonder.

if you check out the web site www.disneyweddings.com they will give you the information, or you can try the DCL web site, they have information on there too.

It cost us $1000 for the Captain to do the ceremony, a cake, some champagne, a solo musician, flowers and a few other things too.

I will be happy to answer any specific question.

Hi

Does anyone know if you can pick the date for vow renewal I just called DCL and the lady I spoke with said she didn't know, she thought that the services are on the day at sea. I would much rather have the service at the beginning of the cruise since we are on the 4 day then the rest of the cruise would be the honeymoon we didn't have first time around.

maelcu: Good question, and I hope we can pick the day. Fortunately the day I have in mine is also a day at sea, unless they change in Dec 2005...

We did the four day Wonder last December and we had to have our VR on the second day, when the ship as docked at Nassau. DCL were not keen to change the day, we did want the VR when we were at sea but they wouldn't let us.

It took place at about 5pm.

I don't think you would get your pick of days. I know for our wedding, you could choose to have your ceremony on CC or on the ship at a certain time in a certain place (can you tell which one I picked )

I think since there may be a some weddings and maybe a few vow renewals that you would not be able to pick.
