wedding apperal for our honeymoon question!

Okay we are going on our disneymoon october 8th! We had orgianlly planned on buying the mickey hats that are for the bride and groom. Well my husband and I starting talking about it and have decied not to get the hats. Basically because we are not hat people and haveing to take them off and on on fast rides. So this is what we have deiced and I want your guys help. We are going to get pin lanyards and get like the wedding pins and wear those. and possibly the bride and groom disney t-shirts. My question is does anyone know where i can maybe find disney lanyards that are hopefully wedding desngs. If not we were thinking of getting like the 2011 lanyards.I guess my question is do you know of were i could look for the lanyards? Also what do you think of our idea?

I can't help you with the lanyard idea, but I highly recommend wearing the hats. My husband and I are not hat people either, but we didn't find wearing them to be burdensome or uncomfortable at all. I usually kept mine on with bobby pins and he used the chin straps There were only a few rides we felt the need to take them off for.

In my opinion any inconvenience of wearing them is outweighed by all the "pixie dust" you get from people seeing that you are on your honeymoon, and clearly if you're wearing the hats love disney! Maybe you'd get the same treatment with a more subtle display but I really think you can't go wrong with the hats.

Of course everyone likes different things and i'm sure you'll have a great time no matter what you wear!

I just replied in you thread over on the Theme Parks forum.

Quick synopsis:
We didn't wear the hats either, but we were certainly noticed by just wearing the pins that said 'Happily Ever After' or 'Just Married', which we got later in the week at MK. The hats are obviously more noticeable, especially from farther away, but with all the pins that everyone wears, the CMs were good at noticing and only a few didn't say 'congratulations.' Even other guests were saying congratulations!
