Good morning! We're planning our honeymoon for WDW at the end of May...I am beyond excited! I'd love some feedback on what I put together so far for our plan. We're on the DDP, hence all the Table Service reservations!

TENTATIVE DAY PLAN
Tuesday (Arrival Day):
  • Flight arrives around 10:30. Magical Express to resort (maybe by noon?), drop bags with Bell Services, and hop over to Disney Springs for the afternoon.
  • Thinking of making a trip over to Trader Sam’s in here too. I heard it occasionally has a long wait...will that be the case on a Tuesday afternoon in May?
  • 7:45pm - Dinner Reservations at Maria and Enzo's Ristorante in DS.
    • Might end up changing this for dinner at one of the resorts.
Wednesday (Magic Kingdom [Hours: 9am-10pm]):
  • Keys to the Kingdom Tour (8am-1pm) - includes lunch and a couple rides.
  • 5:20pm - Dinner Reservation at Jungle Navigation Co.
  • 7:45pm - Dessert/Fireworks Party
  • EMH 10pm-12am if we're feeling up to it
Thursday (Epcot? [Hours: 9am-9pm]):
  • Epcot EMH 8am-9am...probably not doing this.
  • No reservations. Just planning on doing some rides/shows and snacking around World Showcase!
  • We are considering doing Rope Drop at DHS to try to get a boarding group for RotR, then heading to Epcot if we couldn't get one. Not sure if this is necessary.
Friday (Magic Kingdom Pt 2! [Hours: 9am-10pm]):
  • Maybe Rope Drop for EMH (8am-9am), but it will be a very long day if we do that!
  • 4:05pm: Dinner Reservations at Be Our Guest
  • Villains After Hours (10pm-1am)? (Not certain if we're doing this yet)
Saturday (Animal Kingdom [Hours: 9am-8:30pm]):
  • Rope Drop for EMH (8am-9am)
  • 4:50 - Dinner Reservations/ROL package at Tusker House
Sunday (Hollywood Studios [Hours: 9am-9pm]):
  • Rope Drop for RotR hopefully!
  • 11:45am - Lunch Reservations/Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose’s
  • 2:20pm - Savi's Workshop to build lightsabers
  • EMH 9pm-11pm if we're feeling up to it
Monday (Departure Day. Booooo!):
  • Check out of resort, hang out (in DS?) until whatever time we're supposed to catch Magical Express to the airport.

For Wed Mk day -
I've not done KTTK tour, but here's some food for thought (pun kind of intended:)

Depending on how you guys eat, and what foods/when the lunch is for KTTK, for our fam, I'd be thinking of moving that Skipper Res up by an hour, OR skipping it, and / or only planning to eat small. IMO, Walt missed the mark by calling those things dessert parties. In DHS, and in MK, there are plenty of non dessert option to make them a decent meal. We usually have a small late, or big early lunch if we are doing a dessert party. AT Mk's dessert party, 10-15 cheeseburger egg rolls, some spinach dip, 20 chocolate covered strawberries, 2 glasses of pog juice (and now I think you can get booze, no?) - That's enough for me to call it dinner, and get a little bit more of my money's worth. DHS has even more savory stuff to make it a nice meal. And any time I've been to an AYCE event at Wallyworld, the cm's are vocal about not being shy - "take what you like - we have more."

That might not work for you at all, but just tryna help. Those parties are definitely not just desserts. We try to eat something relatively lite and healthy for lunch on dessert party days, so we are ready to dive into the dessert party offerings. Admittedly, the cheeseburger egg rolls are NOT good for you, but I gotta say, they are better tasting than I thought they'd be - maybe that's because we strategically show up pretty hungry.

Yeah I agree. The Wednesday dinner followed immediately by the dessert party is a waste. You’ll have tons of food at the dessert party—I’d drop the dinner reservation. Plus your checkin for the dessert party will be earlier than 7:45. Someone else can elaborate more on that since it’s been a little while since I’ve done one but it will be different.

Good call! Just bumped dinner up to 4pm on that day! Thanks!!
