DD asked me to sign up for Club Penguin Sunday, but I see no reason to pay for what we can do for free. Are any of those other sites free and child appropriate? Thanks Talentless.

CLub penguin is free, and yes most of them are safe..
well all of them except IMVU and habbo.. but habbo is more safer as it has a bobba filter which means when anyone uses a naughty word it "bobbas it out" Like example "bobba you" and stuff. IMVu lets you do anything, runescapes really difficult to type stuff, you can't even write ww without it going ** and club penguin is really protective, along with Mokitown which is a safe road safety website, Uhm, im not sure about faketown. and Mycoke is real fun and safe.

Actually I totally disagree. From my point of view, here is what I found out from checking out these site's. Trust me on this caribbound.


runescape- This is a midevil type of game, where you get magic, you explore and have fun. This site is fairly safe but I would reccomend you watching it yourself to make sure that it is ok

mokitown: I think this is a fairly good site but I would reccomend you trying it out first. I think the chatting is safe and it seems like a fun site.

faketown: I think this is an inappropiate site for younger kids. There are some disturbing graphics which is not right for younger kids, I would most likely NOT reccomend this game

vmk: This is a givin.

habbo: I found this site alright but I honestly wouldn't let my kid play on it for various reasons

Mycoke and club penguin: Very innapropriate for younger kids 8-12. Some of the things they say is not right.

Well this first paragraph I will talk about www.millsberry.com I found this game fun because you get to make your own house and own pets. Nothing innapropriate here and the furniture, items you can use are very cool

This site is optional. If you buy a webkinz you can play on www.webkinz.com. My cousin who's twelve plays this game and finds it very fun. There are lots of games to play, rooms to build and overall really good time.

Fair enough, I was only giving out my opinions, I said I didn't know about Faketown.. and Clubpenguin.com is quite alright? if you swear it automatically bans you, and the parents can choose either safe chat or ultra safe chat, which means the child can only write whats given in the box's like you can't type anything, you can just choose what you write, like you click the box thing and it says "Hello" it comes out with Howdy, Hi, Hey,Heya,Hello and such.. anyway yeah I just rememebred that Faketown actually does have a fair few disgusting pictures. I'm sorry I should'nt have posted it, and thanks for making my Animation

Club penguin you have to pay if you want to buy clothes or furniture. My guess is the ultra safe chat is similar to toontown, which they do occasionally but we've never payed to have an ongoing account. I'll check out the other two sites you thought were good for the younger crowd.

Before I found VMK I played Runescape religiously. I would NOT reccommend it for young ones. The game itself is ok but the people who play it is what causes the problem. Not all but several players are very mean and abusive to other players. There is a feature that lets you follow someone and I have seen too many times a cruel person following and taunting a new player. There are some chat filters but like VMK players have found many ways around them. That's just my 2 cents as I love the game but I would not reccomend it for children.

My brother plays Maple Story A LOT, but I have no idea how appropriate it is for children, as he is not a child.

Habbo Hotel is extremely inappropriate and I find it to be extremely unsafe.

I tried it out once and immediately got out of it. People can say whatever they want. I went into a public room and nearly everyone in there was swearing and saying things that were so incredibly disgusting and not for kids under the age of 15. You also had to pay for things like Club Penguin.

It takes visiting another online multiplayer game to appreciate VMK's dictionary, lol.

lol I agree, I should think before I post these things, over all VMK is the best.
for many reasons, Not paying, safety, fun, good graphics and much MUCH more.

I play Neopets a lot but you don't really 'walk' around in there. You can talk in boards and whatnot though. Still very fun!

i have played puzzle pirates which is fun but it requires a bit of thinking and im not sure how safe u want it... u should probably check it out first

How is Club Penguin not safe?! I went on it once, Yes it was boring. And Yes they did taken, but the language wasn't SUPER bad. So, they may have a "love" sign, but how is it not safe? Someone please explain this to me.
