Does anyone have any recommendations of books or websites / forums for my children ( 9 & 7) for them to read / interact with & help them get involved with planning our trip .
My 6 year old nephew has been doing the same thing. Whenever I see him we spend an hour playing with his train set then I hear "Auntie Jen, please can we look at the Disney trains?". He especially loves watching the monorail go through the Contemporary!
If I remember correctly, when we went for the wedding my mum bought the Kids' Guide to DisneyWorld. I have a feeling it was a Birmbaum (sp?!) guide but I'm not certain.
I've just thought - there is also the Goofy planning guide that Disney have been doing through Facebook. Not sure if it can be accessed away from Facebook though?
I see you have your book sorted so here's an additional suggestion to add to it
When DD was much younger I used to go into the travel agents and collect each and every different type of Disney brochure they had. I bought her a cheap scrapbook and gave her scissors, glue and all the bits and let her scrapbook her 'planning'. Kept her busy for HOURS. Also getting them to make their own countdown is great fun
