What is the address for the website that tells what coupons will be in Sunday's paper?

I know that sometimes on a holiday weekend, the coupons aren't very good and I want to know whether or not to buy.

I promise, I'll write it down this time

If you look at the first page of ShiPooOwner's "Coupon Train -- New Riders Welcome" thread, she lists all the coupon inserts and which dates they'll be in the paper.

I doubt there will be any coupons this week --- they typically don't put coupons in the Sunday paper on holiday weekends.

Hotcouponworld has a really helpful search feature, you type in the product name and it tells you all the available coupons and where to find them.

If you're interested in knowing ahead of time, we have folks that are able to get the info on exactly what coupons are coming up weeks ahead of time, not just the number/type of inserts for each week. In fact we have the ones for 9/16 already up. Please feel free to come and join us at weusecoupons.com for that info and to see if there is info on your local supermarkets, big box, or drug store chains that will help you out. My grocery bill yesterday was almost $200 and I paid just under $80 out of pocket and yes, that is fairly typical with matching the coupons to the ads, stockpiling things we use all the time, and knowing ahead of time what will be coming on sale to get coupons to match the sales! Works great! My average savings per week is an honest to goodness 60% off the cost of my groceries with very little effort.

What websites allow you to print coupons without d.l.ing a program?? I don't have a printer at home, so I use the library to print. If there was a way to copy them all onto a paint file or something, then print off that one sheet of coupons i use, that would be cool.

Ask at your library. You usually have to download a file to get coupons to print and I don't know if they will allow that. Even if they did, with a common ISP once the coupies are printed once, its all over.

Taylortownpreview was what I was trying to remember, but I was thinking "it has something to do with Minnesota" which wasn't getting me there.

We usually have the best coupons the first Sunday of the month so I wasn't sure if today would be good or poor.

I appreciate knowing that there are several options for this. I'm not a coupon queen. But even a princess saves a LOT of money.

My best hit lately was bags of Kraft cheese for 12 cents each.

Wonderful! We'd love to have you over there along with anyone else who wants to join in! It really is a great group of people and I'm just in awe of some of the deals folks figure out. I wish we had a Walgreens or CVS near us so I could do what they figure out for deals for those stores!

Ann usually the first part of the month is when the Proctor and Gamble Qs come out too so it tends to be a good time to get the paper. When you know ahead of time its great to be able to use it for planning whether you want to buy an extra paper. I know to some people that sounds crazy but it really is worth it sometimes! Or doing a trade with someone who has access to a lot of them like my friend who does it for ACS so you can get exactly what you need.

Diane, what supermarkets are you shopping at? I used to get great savings when I lived in "The Land of Doubles." I can't find any supermarkets that will double in NYC. Even our CVS does not have the same sales flyers as the rest of the country. Rite Aid just started doing the same thing, going from a 12 page flyer to a 4 page "Metro NYC" flyer. They will honor the sale if I print off the missing flyer pages of something I want. But what a pain. And that's costing me money in printer ink.

The nearest Walgreens to me doesn't even have a flyer in the store , but will honor the sales if I bring one in. Luckily, I've been able to snag them.


The best stockpile deal I've had recently was at Jack's 99¢ Closeout department, not the 99¢ section. It was for my favorite conditioner, Charles Worthington: Moisture Seal. I ran out about a month ago, and by the time I finally got around to buying another bottle, my hair was fried. I had to use an intensive treatment to get in back in any reasonable shape. I was afraid I was going to have to cut it off, but, once I started using the Moisture Seal again, my hair got so much better.

Well, the company changed the look of the bottles. I haven't found it on sale anymore, so I've been paying $6.99 for it, full price.

I was in Jack's the other day and I spotted a shelf full of the old style bottles. They were a closeout as they were trying to get rid of them for the new bottle design. I snagged 12 bottles for only $2 each!

Imzadi that is outrageous! I know the store here in town is part of the same chain that I shop on my way home from work. My office is a 55 mile commute each way and the store I shop at is about 30 from my home. Would you believe they are in different pricing brackets? The one down there is cheaper even though we are in a very depressed county (4th worst in the state) and they are now the only real full sized grocer here. They are just killing the people here with the pricing.

Please stop over and see if you can find some helpful stuff out relative to your stores in NYC. I know you have that one drugstore chain that is just outrageously expensive but I didn't know that RA and CVS were bad down there to.

Karen - I went to your website and poked around. Looks good! Where do I find the info for the upcoming coupon inserts. Do I need to be registered first?

Fab if you scroll down on the forums page you will see an area called "Coupon Clearing House". Anything and everything about coupons that are out there as inserts, blinkies, printables, etc can be found in that section. If you click on the one entitled "inserts" you'll see where one of our members has the most recent and upcoming inserts listed and where possible, the full listing of the Qs in those inserts. Its really amazing!

You can also utilize the For Sale or Trade (FSOT) section once you have registered and you make a deal with a member. Details are all in the headers for each forum.

Were you able to find the stores specific to your region? You're probably one of those lucky folks who has a CVS and Walgreens on every corner! lol You will be shocked at how good the ladies are at deals for those stores!

I guess the first thing I need to do, is see how much regular price is for the things we buy most. I usually only buy things on sale or b1g1 free. And I've gotten really good deals, but I don't know how good.

A lot of companies are doing combo coupons with milk lately in response to those high prices. Nabisco had one where if you b2 of X you get $2 off milk and what was nice was that type of coupon can often be stacked with a manufacturers coupon on each of the two items you're buying as well to maximize the savings. Know what I mean? Milk is a very sore subject for many people because we all use it and the prices seem so high but if you compare it to other products it really isn't out of line and the dairy farmers are just being squeezed to death with very low profits on their products. It is not a good situation right now. I'm guessing gas prices in Dallas were also much lower than where you live and that has a direct impact on the costs for dairy farmers.

You should only be buying things on sale! That is the first and easiest step to take. If you then have a coupon, all the better! Did you know that if an item is on sale as a BOGO (or B1G1) and you have a BOGO coupon that most retailers will give you both items free? THAT is maximizing your savings! It takes a bit of time and a little organizing but a group of us who kept track of our time spent on coupons, bit of extra time shopping because of the coupons, etc added it all up and came up with an average salary of $30+/hour for our time. I'll take that any day! lol

I have used a couple of store coupons for, buy 2 of x get a free gallon of milk. But that only comes around every few months. The last time though, I picked up a gallon of milk at wal-mart in a hurry one night, and when i went a couple days later to Publix, they had the milk on sale. that was a 'doh moment.

Gas prices are about the same. Maybe 5 cents cheaper. But my aunt went shopping at Tom Thumb, spent 200$ on groceries, so she was able to get 20 cents off per gallon of gas bought at the store. So she paid 2.19 per gallon.

I just really wish I had a printer. I would be all over it. I got lucky though, some kids came through the neighborhood trying to get subscriptions to the sunday paper for a scholarship/contest thing. So I got like 12 weeks at 75 cents a paper. Plus a coupon card for things like buy one meal get one free at local restaurants, one of them Shane's rib shack which is with Upromise as well.

I always go with buy 1 get 1 free or on sale. Kari's lunches are usualy the exception, if she's out I'll get her more bagels and cream cheese. But I jump the moment I see it go b1g1 free and stock up.

So you're a Publix shopper usually! I *love* that store! See now your comments about the BOGO sales make sense to me. I shop there when I am at my Mom's all the time and I can't believe the BOGOs you all get. Now if you hook up with a coupon service you can really maximize and pull off huge savings! Seriously.....go check out some of the deals our Publix girls are doing as well as the Wal-Mart ones! Its just amazing. I have gotten so many great deals these last two weeks that my daughter who is our "organizer of the cupboards" told me to stop buying stuff!!!! lol No more room!
